🌘 SALATUL KUSUF- SOLAR ECLIPSE PRAYER

Today 12th August 2026
📍 At- Towfiiq, Bolton

A solar eclipse is expected to take place today in the evening. The Sunnah at the time of an eclipse is to turn towards Allah Ta ala through Salah, Du'a, Dhikr, Istighfar and other acts of worship.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us that when we witness such signs of Allah Ta‘ala, we should hasten towards Salah, Du‘a, Dhikr, Istighfar and Sadaqah.

Please make an effort to attend and spend this special time turning towards Allah Ta‘ala.

**EID DAY INFORMATION**

Here are few important reminders/information for EID DAY TOMORROW (27/05/2026):

-Firstly, ALL Eid prayers will BE HELD AT OUR MASJID (Address: 24 Punch street, Bolton, BL3 5BJ).

The 1st Eid prayer will start at 7AM SHARP.
The 2nd Eid prayer will start at 8AM SHARP and the 3rd/final Eid prayer will start at 9AM SHARP.

**All three Eid prayers are open for BOTH males and females (females will pray upstairs like normal) we strongly encourage everyone to try and attend the earlier Eid prayers so we can cater for those elderly and vulnerable for last Eid prayer. We also want to avoid the masjid over-crowded on final Eid prayer so please try and attend one of the earlier prayers if you can**

-Secondly, we humbly request those brothers and sisters that live nearby to the masjid to walk to the masjid and leave their cars at home. This is to help with congestion in the masjid area and to free up more parking slots for those brothers and sisters coming from far away.

-Thirdly, there will be stewards/security teams available on all three Eid prayers. These volunteers are there to assist and guide people inside and outside the masjid, we kindly request that we listen/respect their guidance/instructions to ensure we maintain the health and safety of everyone attending on the day.

We conclude by thanking all our attendees for your continuous support and generosity to our masjid.
