Our Vision

This new mosque truly represents the future for our community and will, we believe, provide a spiritual home for everyone who wishes to share in it. Importantly, the development will also enable us to expand our vital da'wah work throughout the north east - helping us to engage with the wider commu

nity, facilitating mutual understanding and harmony. History

Masjid e Noorul Islam was established to serve the needs of our local community. Situated in the North West the mosque, has become a focal point for Muslims and others from across the north west region and further afield. Since its establishment the mosque's services have expanded to keep up with a rapidly growing demand. Activities and events now range from a simple prayer gathering to afterschool classes, community events, providing Islamic advice on social problems, holding fitness classes, Islamic awareness programmes and Da'wah training. As a result of this level of activity, we are struggling to cope with the demand for services given the current facilities. We hope you will look upon our project favourably and be encouraged to assist us in our vision for a peaceful and prosperous relationship between communities in the north west.

Private Islamic Guidance & Pastoral Support

We are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of Meet the Imam — a new FREE community service offering private appointments with:

Mawlana Muhammad Husein Al-Qadiri

A confidential, compassionate and faith-centred space where members of the community can talk openly, ask questions, seek Islamic guidance and receive pastoral support.

Appointments may include support and guidance relating to:
