Each year, following the Annual Parochial Church Meetings (APCM), church officers take part in the Archdeacons’ Visitations - an important moment in the life of our diocese.

These services formally admit new churchwardens and invite PCC members and sidespersons to renew their commitment to parish mission and ministry. They are a legal milestone and a time of prayer, encouragement, and community.

This year’s Visitations are especially significant as they will be the final ones led by Archdeacon Rachel before her retirement – a chance to give thanks for her faithful support across the archdeaconries of Salford and Bolton.
