Thank you to all who attended the September 6th decoration service at ST. ANDREW'S. What a glorious combination of Captain Kaitlyn Young's message, Jillian Misner's vocal performance and Rev. Shirley Mueller's accompaniment on the keyboard. Thank you to the cemetery board members for their volunteer efforts throughout the year.

As part of the celebration for the 100th anniversary of World Day of Prayer, a women-led prayer movement, Janet MacFadyen will be gathering short (half-page) biographies of women who are/were part of St. Andrew's Presbyterian in Bolsover.

If you're interested in sharing some information about family, neighbours or yourself, please pm Janet. She is working on this project in Bolsover from September 7 to 11th.

Happy Canada Day!
While we gather with others in our communities to celebrate the beauty and goodness of our country, let us continue to pray.
Pray for healing and understanding between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
Pray for for wisdom, integrity, and humility for all levels of government.
Pray for our Next Generation: lift up the youth across Canada, asking for hope, godly mentors, and a bright future.
Pray for the well-being of families, strong neighborhoods, and economic vitality.
Let us especially keep in mind areas of the country that are coping with extreme weather stress. May people and livelihoods be kept safe as we navigate this time.

Everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday mornings at 10 am for our weekly service.

Another generous gesture by a member of St. Andrew's.

Treasures were for sale across Canada as people set up Victoria Weekend yard sales!

Many thanks to Mary Anne MacEachern for donating calendar samples from the early 1930s for the Toronto launch of the WDP 100th Anniversary on October 17, 2026 at Cu**er United. (They will also be available for services.) And thank you, as well, to the person who dropped off the samples for Mary Anne's yard sale which has been raising money for breast cancer research for 20 years!

When WDP centennial services and launches are finished for 2027, these calendar samples will be donated to interested museums and/or sold to raise money for social justice projects for women.

Young women aged 25 to 40 are gathering in Thailand November 28 - December 6, 2026 under the leadership of the World Day of Prayer International Committee to build skills, deepen faith and strengthen the future of the World Day of Prayer movement.
