At Aldwick Baptist Church, our aim is to: LOVE GOD, LOVE EACH OTHER AND LOVE OUR COMMUNITY You do not stay angry for ever but delight to show mercy.

We are about loving God, loving one another and loving lost people-
‘Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.’ Hebrews 13:1
Verse 2 goes on to say: ‘Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.’

We are about grace reaching more and more people-
‘We know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us

with Jesus and present us with you to himself. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.’ 2 Corinthians 4:14-15

We are about building God’s Kingdom as we extend our boundaries-
‘The day for building your walls will come, the day for extending your boundaries.’ Micah 7:11

We believe that Jesus is God’s answer to our community-
‘Who is a God like you who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You will again have compassion on us.’ Micah 7:18-19

We are about the loving, reaching and building which can only be achieved in our community through the power and love of Jesus!

Summer Family Activity Challenge &
Strawberry Cream Tea

We are just a few weeks away from this exciting Community Celebration of Summer and there are alraedy a good number of people signed up to this very poular annual event but we still have room for more and would love it if you could come and join us.

Best of all this event is free of charge - as it is our honour to invite you, our neighbours, to join with us and allow us to showcase our wonderful facilities and the other activities and services which we have on offer during the year (donations to help with the costs would, of course, be gratefully received)

The flyer for the event is shown below

We have booked a special inflatable run for the kids, a face painter, and there will be activities in our buildings and grounds for all ages. We will have a veteran vehicle playing fairground music (courtesy of the Rose Green Arts & Craft Centre) and there will be a luscious strawberry cream tea on offer (and cakes for the children if they prefer).

For those who prefer a slower pace, the rear garden will be open (weather permitting) to relax and enjoy the refreshments and a natter.

We would love to see you there but, in order to cater appropriately, will you please book your place as soon as possible, as requested below, because this event is always very popular and we have an upper attendance limit that we can safely operate within.

See you in the sunshine! (there's confidence for you).

What a great encouragement to see six people baptised today. It was a moving service and all glory goes to Jesus. We pray for the candidates that from this day forward they will take life on with the power of the Holy Spirit to help them.

EASTER SERVICES

Aldwick Baptist Church - Easter Services
We are just a few days away from the Easter season and it was a real privilege to host a number of you at our recent Easter Craft and Hot Cross Bun event at which many seasonal gifts were created and relationships developed. As posted in the last email our Easter services will soon be starting - here's a reminder of what was said in that email.

"The year seems to be flying by and within just a few weeks Easter will be upon us. The world is in tumoil at present but at Aldwick Baptist Church we are planning a number of services over the Easter period which will remind us all that God is not remote from us but, in Jesus, not only walked amongst mankind but died and rose again to offer the creation he had made - you and me - a new life, peace and purpose beyond this life. You may not be a regular church goer, but Easter is a special and important time of year, so if you've been considering what to do about the state of our world or even the situation in which you find yourself, why not come along to one of these services and find the answers seek? You would be most welcome."

Last call for Easter Craft and Hot Cross Bun event.

We are only just over a week away from our next quarterly Love Aldwick Event. This event is for ALL AGES to make Easter cards and presents for family and friends and to enjoy seasonal refereshments. It is FREE OF CHARGE though we would like to ask for a financial donation to Food Bank who are in real need of supplies. Why not come as a family or group of friends to enjoy this popular event - where last year we had grandparents and grandchildren working alongside one another to create special Easter gifts . Please BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment and to help us with catering.

Aldwick Baptist Church - Easter Services

EASTER CRAFT & HOT CROSS BUN FAMILY EVENT
We are only a month away from this very popular event and bookings are already underway. If you want to come alone, or with family or friends, please book your place(s) urgently as we will probably have to limit attendance due to the constraints of our building. We really look forward to welcoming you and our craft providers are in the process of organising some really attractive craft items that can be given as gifts at Easter.

Christmas 2025 at ABC

It doesn't seem possible that Christmas os almost upon us does it?

The shops have been advertising the fact for a few months but now is the time for us at ABC to let you know about the key dates on which we as a church are celebrating Christmas in 2025.

We would love you to join us to enjoy the various activities with us. Of course there are so many pressures upon us at this time of year but we believe that "Jesus is the reason for the season" and we can offer space to understand and celebrate that, so please do make an effort to join with us on one or more of the occasions. We will give you a warm welcome and possibly even a mince pie and a hot drink.
