Blyth Food Bank

Blyth Food Bank Blyth Food Bank is a charitable organisation created to fulfill a need for those in desperate circumstances.

Blyth Food Bank is a project run by Churches Together in Blyth, Northumberland Emergency Transition Support (NETs) with distribution centres at the Briardale Community Centre and Escape Family Support. The Food Bank was set up to combat the growing need for emergency food support for those facing financial difficulties or hard times in the Blyth area. The food bank covers the entire town of Blyth

and also provides overflow support to neighboring food bank areas should the need arise. In March 2015, Blyth Food Bank and NETs approached the Briardale Community Centre and Escape Family Support to ask if they would like to become distribution centres for the already ongoing project. Luckily they agreed and have since been working in partnership for almost twelve months now.
