Everyone is very welcome to our services and we love to welcome new people into our church family. We meet to worship at 9.00am on a Sunday morning, when we have a Sunday School called "Candles and Lanterns" in the church hall. We also have a Messy Church in the hall

on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 10am - 12pm. We love to welcome families for baptisms and weddings. Today on Holy Saturday, we have sat with the sorrow and bewilderment of the day after the crucifixion, but as the sun sets we turn towards Easter and welcome the light of the risen Christ. Tonight our Vigil Service is at Holy Cross Church, Ryton at 8pm and everyone is welcome.
The service begins in darkness as we listen to the whole story of God’s salvation plan, then we go outside to the Easter fire and light the Paschal candles, processing back into church proclaiming the joy of the resurrection. It’s a beautiful service - do come along if you can.

Today is Good Friday, the day when we walk with Jesus in his final hours all the way to death and burial. Why do we call it good? Because we know that this is not the end of the story and that even in the midst of death there is life and hope.

Join us at 1.30 as we share together in readings, reflections and music and enter into Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross for us.

Today is Maundy Thursday, the day when we remember Jesus’ mandate to us to “love one another as I have loved you”. In our service this evening at 7pm, we will celebrate Communion together as we remember the Last Supper and Jesus sharing bread and wine with his friends, before things take a darker turn and we prepare ourselves and the church for the events of Good Friday.

All are welcome at 7pm at St Paul’s.
