On Saturday [27th June] The Revd Donna was ordained a Priest at Durham Cathedral, and on Sunday [28th June] presided at her first 'Holy Mass' assisted by The Revd Jonny at St. Cuthbert's Church, Blaydon ⛪️

What a joy to have The Revd Rosemary preach a wonderful sermon for us and to have music courtesy of Off Key Music - Community Windband, we then had a fabulous buffet to celebrate 🎶🥪🍰🥳

We had a lovely service this morning at St Cuthbert’s Church, celebrating Trinity Sunday.

We celebrated the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, the three Persons of God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, in our worship; through song, in our prayers, by burning incense, and through Holy Communion 🎶🙏💨🍞🍷

Also as part of our service The Rev'd Jonny blessed The Rev'd Donna's new vessels and linens that she will use in her new ministry, and imparted a blessing to bless her ministry with joy, and multiply her gifts to enrich the Body of Christ, as she prepares to become ordained Priest later this month at Durham Cathedral.

It's our Annual meeting after the service this Sunday 19th April, an opportunity to hear about what we have been doing and ways to get involved. We thank God for all his blessings to us in the past year and look ahead to where God will lead us next.

We had a lovely service this morning at St Cuthbert’s Church, celebrating the Second sunday of Easter.

We celebrated Jesus' peace, resurrection joy, and the recognition of Jesus by the disciples, in our worship; through song, in our prayers, and Holy Communion 🎶🙏💦🍞🍷
