We are delighted to announce that joining our distinguished line up for our Summer Night of Song is:

🌟 Celia Graham.

Celia Graham is a Scottish musical theatre actress. She is mostly known for playing Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera. She took over the role from Sierra Boggess in Love Never Dies in London's West End. Celia recently toured the U.K. And Europe playing Jellylorum in "Cats". Celia Graham has done recording for films and television programmes.

As part of our preparations for the Jubilee and, of course, the upcoming celebrations, we have been able to purchase these bespoke altar cloths. This was made possible by a bequest made by a family after the passing of a much-loved parishioner.
The altar is the most important piece of furniture in the Church, as here the sacrifice of Calvary is made present, through which we can unite the offering of our lives with Christ’s.
Hopefully you’ll agree that these new ‘super-frontals’ honour that central importance and give glory to God!

Mass in St John Ogilvie Church this evening at 7 pm will be a vigil Mass for tomorrow’s feast of St Columba. The Knights of St Columba will join and provide music for the Mass. The relic of St Francis will be venerated.

ST JOSEPH’S PARISH UNIFORM PROJECT 2026


We are keen to build on the success of last year’s Uniform Project part of supporting our families, aiming to reduce the cost of uniforms and cut down on waste. School uniforms can be expensive, often leaving families with less money for other essentials.

The Uniform Project will accepts used uniform donations from local families and schools redistributes them to others who need them.

What happens ?

1. At the end of June plastic boxes will be placed at the back of the St Joseph’s and St John Ogilvie Church

2. Please put any used school uniforms from any local school in the boxes.

3. The pieces of uniform will be laundered and prepared for the return of the school in August.

Next ?

1.Freshly prepared uniforms will be made available at the end of July / beginning of August for parent/carers to come and take for free.

We hope this will be of interest to the parish and wider community.
