🎉 FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ON THE FYLDE COAST! 🙏🐘

Fylde Coast Hindu Society is delighted to invite EVERYONE to our very first Ganesh Festival – Community Celebration & Visarjan! ❤️

📅 Friday 25 September 2026
📍 Kingscote Park, Blackpool – opposite Blackpool Stanley Rugby Club
🙏 Ganesh Sthapna – 10:45am
🍛 FREE Community Meal – 12:30pm–3:30pm
🚶 Leave Kingscote Park – 5:00pm
🌊 Visarjan at Stanley Park Lake – 6:15pm

This is much more than a religious celebration. It is an opportunity to bring our whole community together through faith, culture, friendship, food and togetherness.

Come along with your family, friends and neighbours. Whether you are Hindu or simply want to experience and learn about another culture, you are warmly welcome.

The festival is FREE for everyone, including a free community meal, as part of the Pride in Place programme, in partnership with Community First.

🎉 OUR COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES ARE GOING STRONG! 🎉

We’re delighted to see both our Garba Classes 💃 and Community Connections – Lunch, Bingo & Games 🍛🎱 going really well!

A huge thank you to everyone who has been coming along each week. It’s wonderful to see people learning something new, keeping active, enjoying good food, making friends and, most importantly, bringing our community together. ❤️

🙏🌸 JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS IN BLACKPOOL 🌸🙏

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna together at our Blackpool Temple Prayers. 🦚🪈💙

It was beautiful to see our community come together in prayer, devotion and celebration — families, children and friends sharing this special occasion as one family.

May Lord Krishna bless every home with happiness, love, peace and prosperity. 🙏

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, brought Prasad and helped make today’s gathering so special.

These moments remind us why having a regular place for Hindu worship and community gatherings in Blackpool means so much. ❤️

🌟 Bringing Our Community Together! 🌟

We’re delighted to share some of the activities happening over the coming weeks as part of the Community Voices Fund, alongside our regular Fylde Coast Hindu Society activities.

💃 Garba Classes – get active, learn something new and make friends
🧘 Yoga Classes – supporting health, relaxation and wellbeing
🍛 Community Connections: Lunch & Bingo – tackling social isolation through food, friendship and fun

Alongside these funded activities, FCHS continues to run our regular Bollywood Dance Classes, helping people stay active, build confidence and connect with others.

🙏 Our monthly Temple Prayers, organised by FCHS, continue to provide a welcoming space for prayer, community connection and a shared meal.

🐘 Ganesh Visarjan Festival – 24th & 25th September
We’ll also be coming together for our Ganesh Visarjan celebrations, bringing our community together through faith, culture and celebration.

The aim is simple: improve wellbeing, tackle loneliness, build confidence and create more opportunities for people from all backgrounds to come together.
