*TOPIC: STEWARD OF JUSTICE AND PEACE*

*DEMOCRACY DAY*

*_“When the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3._*

*MESSAGE*
Democracy Day reminds us that governance, leadership, and national life matter deeply to God. While systems of government may differ, God's concern remains the same: that righteousness, mercy, and truth prevail in the land. When these foundations are weakened by deceit, injustice, or selfish ambition, it is the righteous who are called to respond with prayer, wisdom, and courage.

As believers, we do not place our ultimate hope in political structures, yet we recognise our responsibility within them. God calls His people to pray for leaders, to seek peace, and to act justly in society. Democracy thrives where truth is honoured, voices are respected, and power is exercised with humility. The Church (you and I) has a vital role in shaping national life—not through violence or manipulation, but through intercession, integrity, and active love for neighbour. When believers live out kingdom values, they become agents of healing and stability in a divided nation.

Above all, Democracy Day points us beyond earthly systems to God's eternal Kingdom. While we work for justice on earth, we remember that Christ is the true King whose reign is founded on righteousness and peace. As we pray for Nigeria, may God raise leaders who fear Him, citizens who act responsibly, and a Church that shines as light—committed to truth, justice, and the well-being of all.

*ACTION POINT*
✍ Pray intentionally for national leaders and commit yourself to promoting peace, truth, and justice in your community.

*SCRIPTURES*
Psalm 11:3;
Proverbs 3:5–6;
1st Timothy 2:1–2;
Micah 6:8.

*PRAYER POINTS*
1. Lord, purify our nation and establish justice, mercy, and truth in Nigeria.

2. Grant wisdom, integrity, and humility to leaders in positions of authority.

3. Help us as citizens to act responsibly and to seek peace and unity in our land.

Deuteronomy 28: 1 - 37
Amos 3 & 4
Luke 14: 1 - 24

POINTS:
1. Two Sides Of The Coin
2. God Reveals Secrets Through a Prophet
3. Rejection By The Jews

1. TWO SIDES OF THE COIN
This world is of two sides; which means the behaviour of someone will determine the face of the coin; good or bad, joy or sadness, gain or loss, blessing or curse. Though people want the positive side of life, certainly, as they lie on their bed, so shall they sleep on it. A Philosopher says that God created the world with principles and sits afar off watching, which means those principles are the judge of the actions of every man. Moses gradually rounded up his valedictory speech by telling them both sides of the coin. According to him, blessing has a condition: listening diligently and doing the words of God perfectly. But disobedience attracts the curse from God which includes sickness, disasters, war, famine, and more. Moses led the Israelites to a maturity stage in which they can now make their choices, whether blessings or curses. To this point, it means we should always examine ourselves when we see the negative aspects of life, though not all are results of our behaviours; some can be a test of faith, but we should not conclude that it is a test without examining ourselves when the negativity comes our way. But surely, God wants us to follow the good path because His thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace. The fact remains that all conditions given in Mosaic Law are very difficult for the people to abide without flaw, that's they want a short-cut; even till now, many want to receive without giving, some want to harvest without planting, the wicked want to be rewarded with goodness, the lazy wants to be rich without labour, though they may find their ways God's judgment will surely come upon them. Blessings here in the passage attract louder amen by all but we need to know that all the blessings are attached with conditions and I pray that the grace of God will grant us the ability to meet up with the conditions that we shall be obedient to all God's terms and conditions in Jesus name.

2. GOD REVEALS SECRETS THROUGH A PROPHET
Many people hate Prophets because they are like a search light, revealing the hidden things and the Bible says man loves darkness more than light. God through the prophetic book, shows His plan towards the people because they have broken the relationship between them and God, and all the efforts to bring them back were all to no avail. The church today needs to examine herself if she is still in the purpose of God, the genocide the church is facing today in some nations is a result of our misappropriation of priorities of many church leaders, because some established church for economy aspects not for evangelisml or the establishment of the saints. Some for social services not for spiritual services. Prophet Amos lamented that God knows about the problem the people were facing and the solution is with Him but people were less concerned with his message until they incurred wrath upon themselves. It is sure God knows about every trouble we are facing, let the prophets consult God like Prophet Amos He will surely show us the way out from the mess facing the church and the nation. Where are the Elishas of this time to confront the evil, where are the Elishas to expose the evil pranks and to confound the evil atrocities? The prophets are revealing politicians against one another intead to condemn the evil practices going on. Some are prophesying to be popular and to gain people to themselves or to enrich their pockets. Though, God is still revealing secrets through His prophets only those who believe shall be guided.

3. REJECTION BY THE JEWS
I am always happy to study how the Jews rejected salvation because their rejection quickens the Gentile Salvation. The parable of the Banquet by Jesus shows how God fastened His plan of salvation to the Gentiles. His plan formally was to redeem the Israelites back to Himself and send them out to preach the love of Christ to the world but they gave excuses and failed to come, and the Lord sent the disciples to the cities and streets to bring anyone found to come to the banquet. That's how salvation came quickly to the general people that the Israelites regarded as gentiles, no more restrictions, no more customs and traditions and He finalized it on the Cross as the veil of the Temple torn to pieces, the order of the temple became one cult, the gentiles are entitled to go to the presence of God with the name of Jesus not with circumcision, Levitical order of sacrifice or by the Mosaic laws, but by the grace through the blood of Jesus Christ; the salvation becomes free for all today. The stone that was rejected by the builders now becomes the Chief Cornerstone. Today, the gospel rejected is being taken back to the Jews by the so-called gentiles of then and many of them are now embracing the gospel. We have both become joint heirs of the Lord Jesus. My prayer is that our salvation shall not be lost from us in Jesus' name. Are you redeemed, please keep your salvation without levity, Christ shall come when we are least expected; may He meet us spotless and blameless in Jesus' name.

BEFORE YOU SLEEP:

*DON’T SPEND YOUR DESTINY TO IMPRESS PEOPLE.*

Luke 15:13-14 “...the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.”

●The prodigal son spent heavily to look important until hunger exposed him.
●Many people spend money chasing appearance instead of building investments and securing the future.
●Every unnecessary expense to impress people may be a seed that could have produced lasting wealth tomorrow.
●Wisdom is not in looking rich; wisdom is in building substances quietly.
●A Yoruba Proverb says _A kìí fi gbogbo ọwọ́ bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí jẹ ẹ̀fọ́._ (You do not use both hands to eat vegetables carelessly.)

May God give you wisdom to manage resources, escape wastefulness, and build a future of lasting abundance.

The Bible Calendar for 11th June, 2026

Deuteronomy 26: 16 - 27: 26
Amos 1 & 2
Luke 13: 22 - 35

POINTS:
1. Crossing The Jordan
2. Sins of Holy Nation
3. Unstoppable Jesus

1. CROSSING THE JORDAN
No matter how long the journey of life may be, the greatest joy is to become part of a successful people. Though many people left Egypt and died on the way in the wilderness, some people stood at the bank of the River Jordan and waited to cross the river. How beautiful it would be when we also get to Crystal River and are welcomed as the Victorious Church, what would have been the joy of everyone getting to this point? The Israelites on the verge of Jordan were welcomed by Moses, a Priest, and Levites with the saying "Today O Israel you become the People of God." They were ready to pass through Jordan as those who wanted to be Baptised once and for all, to enter into a new life, to have a new intent, intending to have it last till death. But the implication is opening a new record after the closure of the old and every sin after crossing Jordan counts because the punishment follows immediately. As Moses charged the people that they should be watchful and to keep the relationship with God, likewise we were charged at baptism to keep our new life as a born again christians; but many failed in their vows to God. The church rules must be maintained by the church ministers, saints, and adherent members of the church, because they will be judged on any actions after baptism. The people who think right in the church like Simeon, Levi, Judah, Joseph, and Benjamin will be blessed and rejoice with us when we do well. But the unfaithful and crooked people like Rueben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali the drunk, liars, and fornicators as mentioned by Moses will follow their gangs in the church. But the principle of God remains, the ministers will continue to raise their voices to condemn the evil deeds in the church. The time we accepted Jesus Christ does not really matter but to keep our faith till the end. Only Caleb and Joshua were the only surviving people out of those that left Egypt, they made it after all the huddles, we also need to strive till we cross the Crystal River to heaven. May we be part of those who will be successful in Jesus.

2. SINS OF THE HOLY NATION
The judgment will come on individuals according to the principle of God, no one will escape from the judgment of God. Prophet Amos mentioned many gentile nations with their sins and God says they will not go unpunished. Today the available ones among them are reduced to zero-level nations. We need to be careful as the church and the nation for no sinner will go unpunished. He mentioned the Holy Nation, which is the Christians, those who had surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, the Holy Nation, the Royal Priesthood, and Peculiar People who enjoy the relationship of God like that of father to son. The Prophet exposed their sins, Judah did not keep the Commandments, and Israel sold righteous people for silver, they followed worldly things, worshipped other gods, made Nazarites drink wine, and told the Prophet not to prophesy. These were mentioned against the Holy Nations and all these are still in the church today; the church left evangelism to get together, and the Convention has become an avenue for fund-raising, food distribution, and meeting of old friends. We follow worldly dressings and music. The demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit is far away from today's church, the ministers will pray for long for the people to receive the Holy Spirit upon the church yet only scanty people will be filled, while few give testimonies of what the Lord did for them. We need to pray that the experience of the suffering of Israel and Judah may not be our portion. God is not a partial Judge He also passed judgment on an individual according to the principle of God, no one will escape from the judgment of God. God is not a respecter of anyone or any position, an individual will stand before the judgment throne. I pray we will not receive condemnation in Jesus' name.

3. UNSTOPPABLE JESUS
Many people have tried to stop the propagation of the gospel but all to no avail. People who sank the Bible later come back to read and understand it properly, and the nations that opposed the gospel thirst for it until they have its fullness. Jesus told the Pharisees who wanted him to run away that He is unstoppable, He says tell that little fox that I am busy doing healing and casting out the demons today, tomorrow and next tomorrow I will perfect it and no one was able to stop Him. Indeed, He perfected His ministry because He says that when next to Jerusalem will be with glory and power. The gospel is unstoppable, for He has promised to be with us to the uttermost part of the world. Where the gospel is disallowed today, it's a matter of time before they will soon allow Christ to rule the affairs of their nations. Nigeria will soon be governed by the Lord Jesus Christ; then all will know that Jesus is unstoppable. He is the ruler of the universe.

*TOPIC: WALKING IN JUSTICE AND INTEGRITY*

_*That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.” Deuteronomy 16:20.*_

*MESSAGE*
God has clearly laid down standards for legality, morality, and justice in His Word. From the days of Moses, the Lord instructed His people to establish systems of fairness, honesty, and righteousness in their daily lives. Judges were warned not to show favouritism, not to take bribes, and not to twist justice. God's expectation was simple: His people must live uprightly.

Justice is not optional for the believer; it is a command. God desires a life that is fair, honest, and free from corruption. He hates deceit, partiality, and dishonest gain. Every form of cheating is an offence before Him — whether in business, leadership, relationships, or daily dealings.

As believers, our lives are meant to reflect our profession of faith. The world may tolerate injustice, bribery, and manipulation, but God does not. He expects us to stand out as people of truth and integrity. Our Christianity is not proved by what we say, but by how we live.

To walk with God is to love justice, practise mercy, and live humbly before Him. When we do this, we preserve our lives, protect our testimonies, and secure the blessings He has promised.

*ACTION POINT*
✍️ Examine your daily dealings and correct anything that compromises honesty or fairness.

*SCRIPTURES*
Deuteronomy 16:18–20;
Micah 6:8;
Proverbs 16:11;
Leviticus 19:36.

●The evidences that will announce that JESUS is your LORD, The results that will show that GOD answers prayers shall be your portion from this moment in JESUS name.

The Bible Calendar for 10th June, 2026.

Deuteronomy 25: 1 - 26: 15
Jonah 3 & 4
Luke 13: 1 - 21

POINTS:
1. Perfect Weight And Complete Measure
2. The Merciful God
3. Produce Yourself

1. PERFECT WEIGHT AND COMPLETE MEASURE
Cheating is everywhere, many Christians are also indulging themselves in such unrighteousness. Moses warned the Israelites not to have two weights or measurements in their bags, but only the full and complete one. Many enrich themselves by cheating their buyers; some reduce their measurements, while others manipulate their metres or scales. But this is a way of being unrighteous in small things, and the people cheated will cry to God; and this cannot add to the blessings of the sellers as the sellers too will be deceived in one way or the other. Until Matthew returned those things got by force and trick Jesus did not make a declaration of salvation to him. Some Christians will swear in the name of the Lord to believe their lies and they will sell things costly even to their fellow Christians to the extent that we get things cheaper from the unbelievers than from the fellow Christians. No wonder one of my friends says if the seller says I cannot deceive you I'm a Christian; he has left the seller because he believes the seller is covering up his or her unrighteousness with the name of Christianity. Many have betrayed the trust of their spouses and those who handed over things to them. Let's do away with unrighteousness or else we cannot enter heaven, for He says no unrighteousness will enter heaven.

2. THE MERCIFUL GOD
God is merciful to anyone that humble himself before him. The Ninevites heard the message of Jonah and repented, sobered and confessed their sins before God. Both animals and human beings including the suckling children partook in the fasting and sobriety, which made God have mercy on them and change His motive of destruction against their lives. But many Christians will want to know the reason why they must repent and continue to justify themselves. No wonder why Jesus told people in the book of Luke that unless they repent they will surely perish, if they think that they are holier than those who died in Bethlehem or Jerusalem they will perish. The unbelievers will not ask why if they are told to do something, but even if the word of instruction comes through prophecy or words of wisdom, it will still be queried by so-called believers who will inquire who spoke it, where, what and some that will not comply would God kill them? God regards our repentance for He doesn't want the sinners to die but wants them to repent and have everlasting life. Jonah could not recognise the soberness of the people he wanted them dead likewise many wanted the sinner to die, but the scriptures say he who confesses his sins and forsakes them shall obtain mercy. Though as human beings we didn't want sinners to go unpunished, but remember we are not God who determines good or bad; He is a merciful God.

3. PRODUCE YOURSELF
God demands from us to be fruitful in all ministry given to us, He expects us to produce others that can be useful for Him and this is the position of discipleship. Jesus made the parable of the fig tree as it bears no fruit after three years of nurturing, He wanted to uproot it because of its inability to produce fruit, though the dresser pleaded to spare it for another year. The question is, how productive are we in the position and ministry we are in? A Choirmaster or Minister, Sunday School Leader or Witnesses or Youth Leader who has no other person to stand in when he is unavoidably absent is not productive. A minister who cannot produce some people to minister like himself is not fruitful. Some are the same as they were two years ago in the spiritual realm. Some cannot point to something good done by them in the church or affect life positively. Evangelism is one of the areas of productivity where we are expected to be fruitful. Let us rise anew and be fruitful in the area of our calling. If the office you run for two years, during which your absence jeopardises the function, you need to check whether you are productive. It should be your glory and pride that you have someone whom you trained to do it better than yourself. This doesn't demote you but appraises you, and such will know you as their master throughout their life and you will also move forward, but when no other person can play your role you cannot move ahead. Without making use of the people around you, you cannot detect the gift of people you have, use them, correct their mistakes, and disciple them, you will see your product and you will be happy. The grace to produce good fruits shall be given unto us in Jesus' name.

*TOPIC: LOOKING INTO GOD'S MIRROR*

_*“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” James 1:25.*_

*MESSAGE*
Mirrors are part of our everyday routine. We stand before them to check our appearance and ensure that we are presentable before stepping out. In the same way, God has given us a spiritual mirror — His Word.

The Word of God does not only inform us; it reveals us. It exposes the true condition of our hearts, our thoughts, and our motives. When we read Scripture, we are not just reading a book, we are looking at our spiritual reflection. It shows us who we truly are — not as we pretend to be, but as God sees us.

Many people glance into this spiritual mirror and quickly walk away unchanged. They hear the Word, but they do not respond to it. They see the areas that need correction, but they choose to ignore them. But the blessed person is the one who looks carefully, remains in the Word, and allows it to change their behaviour.

True spiritual growth happens when we respond honestly to what God shows us. The Word reveals, but your obedience must adjust. When you align your actions with what you see in God's mirror, your life begins to reflect His glory.

*ACTION POINT*
✍️ Read the Word today and make practical adjustments based on what it reveals to you.

*SCRIPTURES*
James 1:23–25;
Hebrews 4:12;
Psalm 19:12;
2nd Corinthians 13:5.

*PRAYER POINTS*

2. Father, give me the grace to obey what You reveal to me.

3. Let my life reflect Your truth and righteousness.

*TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 2026.*

*TOPIC: MOVE A LITTLE FURTHER*

_*“And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” Matthew 26:39.*_

*MESSAGE*
Those who went further in their walk with God were the ones who experienced the deepest encounters. Life is full of trials and challenges, but triumph is not found in standing still. The key is movement — spiritual progress rather than stagnation or retreat.

Jesus was in Gethsemane, a place of great pressure and decision. Moses stood at the back of the desert with destiny before him. Jacob stood at the brink of meeting the brother he had once wronged. All of them had one option if they were to overcome: they moved a little further.

Gethsemane was a place of wrestling with God over matters of eternal value. Jesus was sorrowful, but it was a burden His closest friends could not share. He moved beyond their presence, fell to the ground, and surrendered Himself in humility. That posture was not weakness — it was strength.

Humility is the foundation of answered prayer. God lifts those who lower themselves before Him. When a believer humbles himself, heaven responds. When pride dies, grace begins to flow. Many problems remain unsolved because humility has not been practised.

Your victory may not come by running away, complaining, or retreating. It may come by taking one more step forward in prayer, faith, obedience, and surrender. Do not remain where you are. Move a little further.

*ACTION POINT*
✍️ Spend extra time today in humble prayer, surrendering every burden to God.

*SCRIPTURES*
Matthew 26:39;
Luke 22:41–44;
James 4:10;
1st Peter 5:6.

*PRAYER POINTS*
1. Lord, give me the grace to go further with You.

2. Father, remove every trace of pride and self-reliance from my life.

3. Help me to overcome my trials through humility and prayer.

The Bible Calendar for 9th June, 2026.

Deuteronomy 23: 9 - 24: 22
Jonah 1 & 2
Luke 12: 41 - 59

POINTS:
1. Law Of Cleanliness
2. Arise, call your God
3. Come to cause Separation

1, LAW OF CLEANLINESS
One of the Biblical principles for divine health is to live in a clean environment, but many people, because of laziness and ignorance, will not bother. Moses told the people to clean their environment wherever they find themselves, especially in the war camp. They should dig the earth before passing their faeces and cover it with soil. He says God will be walking around their camp and He will not condone any unclean environment. People may query the walking of God like man but it is sure that God hate uncleanliness, He knows the components of our bodies that cannot be healthy in an unclean area. That's why we pass out all our waste products in us through fart, urine and faeces, being unable to do so is a serious problem to the body. Also, these wastes must be properly taken care of. To know the clean house, check their toilet, but many take proper care of the kitchen and living room but are careless with the toilet where nakedness is exposed and easily contracted diseases. Many women are dirty, their homes are nothing to talk about, but they have a very good appearance outside, some houses of worship are not clean and we want God to be with us, He cannot be comfortable with the dirty places, it's even against our health. The global problem which hampers the world with the discovery of different diseases, the first antidote is cleanliness, washing hands, covering the nose and cleaning our environment is a must for all. Our holiness is spiritual cleanliness because no one can see God without holiness. God is holy and He wants all that serving Him to be holy physically and spiritually.

2. ARISE, CALL ON YOUR GOD
The prayer that many would have prayed at their convenient time will be offered at a problem time. Jonah was told to rise and call on his God since there was a problem, and as others were calling on their gods and had no solution he did not bother rather he was sleeping. Reading this passage shows that this man wanted to commit su***de because he knew the source of the problem yet he went to sleep thinking he would drown from sleep but he was asked to rise and pray because of the lives of others. Many know the source of their problems but they still prove stubborn, their wives and children will be suffering yet they will be relaxed. Something surprised me, instead of Jonah confessing his sin he asked the people to cast him into the Sea, which shows he was ready to die instead, and the people did not want to do that but as they had no choice they did and they were saved. Having still found himself alive he repented and prayed in the fish for three days of dry fasting. Yes, you may be right about what you are dragging with God but who can question Him? Jonah knew that God had planned that because of the sins of the Israelites and Judah Nineveh would be used to punish them, but as God had sent him to preach repentance to Nineveh, he didn't want to go so that God might destroy them and perish. Today, many Christians rejoice at the destruction of wicked people instead of preaching and saving the wicked in their families communities, and nations. God has no pleasure in the death of a sinner; therefore, preach and pray for the safety of your family, community, church, and nation at large, this is not the time to fold our hands. Remember, Daniel called on his colleagues to pray to God that they may not perish with the other people. Esther asked the Hebrews to pray that the pranks of the enemy may be nullified, so we need to pray that the plans of the evil people may not be executed on our people and us. Pray for the Government that God should show them what to do at this crucial time so that they may know how to tackle the challenges that are facing our country.

3. COME TO CAUSE SEPARATION
Jesus said that He came to cause separation between family, wife and her mother-in-law, between brothers and sisters because He shall save two out of the family of five and leave others or save three and leave others, this has been a problem in many families today; as religion has torn them apart. Many capitalised on this statement and failed in their duties in the family and Community because they showed themselves as Pharisees. But Christians need to be wise because you can win your argument and lose your friend, we don't need to engage in argument. Jesus brothers did not accept His preaching until after the crucifixion and resurrection, the time of salvation of an individual is different, but our duty is to preach the gospel because we are saved to save others. Yes there will be differences in understanding, behaviours, and beliefs but we need to draw them closer and pray for their salvation; the separation is there already; but goodness will draw them to the Cross. The passion of the Gospel must consume us to do extremely good to them, which will be a magnet to draw them to us. When we associate with them in the time of their troubles God will prove Himself and deliver them and they will become Christians. Jesus is coming, or we are going to meet with Him, He has no interest in how many houses you built, but in how many souls you saved. I pray we will get abundant reward in heaven in Jesus' name.
