Joseph – Part 4 | The Final Part of Our Series

Last Sunday, we came to the final part of our preaching series on Joseph.

We ended the message with a role play, bringing the story of Joseph to life. It was great fun, and we really enjoyed taking part together!

Joseph’s story reminds us that God is faithful, even when we can’t see what He is doing.

Yesterday we enjoyed a relaxing day together a lovely picnic, games, lots of laughs and a ride on the little train! 🚂🥪🎲

It was a great time of fun, friendship and making memories together. ❤️

On Sunday, we shared exciting news with our church family as we introduced our new project: Rescue & Rebuild.

This is about more than restoring furniture — it’s about restoring hope, dignity, confidence, and purpose through practical skills, mentoring, and community.

We’re currently looking for a suitable building to bring this vision to life. If you know of a workshop, retail unit, office, warehouse, or have any ideas or contacts, we’d love to hear from you.
Together, we’re not only rescuing furniture… we’re helping rebuild lives. ❤️

Today we celebrate 11 people being baptized at our church into a new life with Jesus, and 1 person rededicating their life to Christ.

Testimonies where heard of lives lived through adversity and tragedy, but with a loving God always present in those struggles.

Bishop Mick in his closing remarks, said that we humans are good at giving things, but not at receiving the divine love that heals every hurt and rights every wrong, but that is what happened today.

Our gratitude to God for blessing and transforming these lives.

As of 19th July, the Salvation Army building will be closing its doors, and Church On The Street Blackburn is now looking for new premises. While this chapter comes to an end, we trust that God will open new doors for Church on the Street Blackburn and lead us to the place He has prepared for us.

We would like to give a huge thank-you to Ashley and Nasreen's family, and to The Salvation Army, for allowing us to use their building for our Sunday afternoon services and our Thursday Groups. Your support and hospitality have been a tremendous blessing to Church on the Street family and the wider community we serve in Blackburn.

We will keep everyone updated as soon as we have news about where we will be meeting after 19th July.

We also want to wish Ashley, Nasreen, and their family every blessing and every success as they begin their new venture. May God guide you, strengthen you, and richly bless you in all that lies ahead.
