🌟 Meet Our New Pastors – Allen & Cherie Myers 🌟
What a blessing it is to officially welcome Allen and Cherie Myers into this new season of leadership with us!

Family is at the heart of who they are. Together they are proud parents to six children and grandparents to four grandchildren, and their love for God and people shines through in everything they do.

Allen has a real passion for worship and music. He faithfully leads worship each week and is a gifted musician, playing both the guitar and piano. His heart for drawing people closer to God through worship is evident every time he serves.
Cherie has a wonderful gift for caring, encouraging and nurturing others. She faithfully plans and helps run our Toddler Group and Children's Club each week, investing in the lives of our youngest generation and supporting families in our community.

Together, Allen and Cherie are deeply involved in so many areas of church life. They support and encourage our youth, help lead community activities, and play a key role in running the Food Bank, serving those who need practical support and a helping hand.

Although they have only been with us for half a week as pastors, they are already making a meaningful impact in our church and wider community. Their servant hearts, genuine kindness, and commitment to sharing God's love are inspiring to see.

Please continue to pray for Allen and Cherie as they step into this exciting new chapter. We are grateful for their leadership, their dedication, and the love they show to everyone they meet.

Today was a truly special day in the life of our church as we celebrated the passing of the baton from Tony and Joyce Oldbury to Allen and Cherie Myers.

After many years of faithful service, leadership, and love poured into this church family, we honoured Tony and Joyce and gave thanks to God for their dedication and commitment to His calling. Their legacy of faith, discipleship, and servant-hearted leadership will continue to bear fruit for generations to come.

We also joyfully commissioned and installed Allen Myers as Pastor, praying God's blessing, wisdom, and anointing upon both Allen and Cherie as they step into this new season of ministry. We are excited for all that God has planned for the future and look forward to walking together as a church family.

As one season transitions into another, we are reminded that God remains faithful, leading His church from generation to generation.

"One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts." — Psalm 145:4

Dear Church Family,

We warmly invite you to join us for a special Pastor Installation Service on Sunday, 7 June 2026, as we celebrate God's faithfulness and mark an important transition in the life of our church.

This service will be a time of honouring Pastor Tony and Joyce Oldbury for their years of faithful leadership, love, and dedication to our church and community, while also officially installing and commissioning Pastor Allen and Cherie Myers as they step into this new season of ministry.

During the service, our Leadership Team will gather around Allen and Cherie to pray over them, asking for God's wisdom, guidance, strength, and blessing as they lead and shepherd our church family.

We would also love for everyone to participate in blessing both pastoral families. A special book will be available where you can write a favourite Bible verse, prayer, word of encouragement, or personal message for Tony and Joyce, as well as Allen and Cherie. This will be a meaningful way to express our gratitude, support, and prayers as we honour one season of ministry and welcome another.

Together, we will worship, pray, celebrate, and thank God for all He has done and all that lies ahead.

Happy 64th Wedding Anniversary, Pastors! ❤️🙏

Today, our church family joins together in celebrating a remarkable milestone—64 years of marriage for our beloved senior pastors.

They have faithfully walked hand in hand, serving the Lord, loving one another, and dedicating their lives to the ministry and to the people God has placed in their care. Their marriage is a beautiful testimony of faith, commitment, sacrifice, and God's enduring grace.

Through the years, they have built a wonderful legacy of faith and family, blessed with 3 children, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Their lives have impacted not only their family but also countless members of our church and community through their selfless love, wisdom, and servant hearts.

We are grateful for their faithful leadership, unwavering dedication, and the example they continue to set for all of us. Their lives remind us of God's goodness and the power of a marriage centered on Christ.

Please join us in congratulating our pastors on 64 years of marriage and in praying for God's continued blessings, strength, joy, and health in the years ahead.
