💧 £300 oil heating support available

If you live in Blackburn with Darwen, rely on oil for heating, and are struggling with costs, you could be eligible for a £300 one-off payment through the Government’s Crisis and Resilience Fund.

You may qualify if you:

✅ Are off the gas grid
✅ Can’t afford an oil refill (quote/invoice needed)
✅ Are on a low income, receive Universal Credit or a disability benefit

👀 Free Children's Grab Bags👀

Our amazing volunteers will be busy putting together our Free Children's lunch grab bags 🥪🧃🍏 ready for collection here at The Big Local Community Shop Tuesday 7th and Thursday 9th April from 10 am till 12 noon.
Everyone can take double on both days as they are not available on Wednesday and Friday.

This is open to all children from any school and will be on a collection only basis.

Please don't struggle our volunteers are here to support and help you.

This is a pre-bookable event for the family and booking is through The Big Local Community Shop during shop open hours

Includes an Entertainer, Music, Dance, Games and prizes.
There will also be a Tuck Shop 🍬🍫 and a Tombola
All the children will receive an Easter Egg 🐰🥚
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
