*Islamic Essential Course for sisters at Masjide Noorul Islam*

Alhamdulillah, Masjide Noorul Islam, Blackburn are offering ladies the opportunity to study the sacred sciences under qualified female scholars with this part-time 2 year course, delivered in English. The programme is ideal for those who wish to develop a more comprehensive understanding of Deen.

Subjects to be covered:
1. Qur'an
2. Hadeeth
3. Seerah
4. Tajweed
5. Aqidah
6. Arabic
7. Hanafi Fiqh

Classes will take place weekly Monday to Wednesday between 10am and 12pm during term time.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah, and he ﷺ said:
“It is an expiation for the sins of the previous year and the coming year.” (Muslim)

*Eid ul-Adha 1447 Salaah Timings and Virtues of Dhul Hijjah*

Alhamdulillah, our Madrassa will be holding a special *Hajj Week* to help our students learn about and connect with the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah and the journey of Hajj.

Throughout the week, students will take part in engaging activities, discussions, reflections, reminders and class-based learning related to:
- The virtues of the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah
- The significance and rituals of Hajj
- The legacy of Prophet Ibraaheem AS and his family

Our aim is to instil love, understanding and appreciation for these sacred days within our children, Insha Allah.

May Allah ﷻ allow us all to benefit and accept the worship of all those performing Hajj this year. Ameen.
