Chit Chat enjoyed an excellent afternoon with entertainment from Yuan Wong who played a selection of classical and traditional music on Accordian and guitar. Yuan plays in the ceildh band GLA Ceildh and we certainly had a flavour of that today with some of the jigs.
Next week we look forward to another musical afternoon with the return of “The Midgies”.

This Saturday we start phase one of our survey at Erskine Graveyard (Bishopton Parish Church) between 10 and 4pm. Our volunteers will be onsite recording sections 1 & 2 (essentially the later extension of the graveyard) where we have identified around 44 memorials. Over the next few months we will be returning to complete the older part of the graveyard.

If your passing, feel free to drop in and see what we are doing. We always welcome new volunteers!
