As a follow-up to July’s Graveyard Tour, we are planning to assist Stephen Clancy (aka The Urban Historian) and “Heritage Buddies” in the recording of those who are interred in our graveyard. If you are interested in helping with this survey work, we will be hosting a training session in the Church extension hall on Sunday, 13 September between 2 o’clock and 4:30 pm for volunteers to learn about what’s required and to get familiar with the recording paperwork and general “Do’s & Don’ts”. It is planned that the survey itself will happen on Saturday, 26 September.

You don’t need to be a member of the Church; just have an interest in a small, but important area within our community that deserves to be recognised and for its secrets to be revealed. This is one of those “I was there/I did that” opportunities and a rare chance to get involved in the history associated with the Church.

Chit Chat welcomed Andy Jackson from Bishopton Rugby today. Andy gave an extremely interesting talk on the work of the rugby club in and for the community. Many present had had no idea of the breadth and scope going on within the club.
Next Thursday at 1pm in The Cornerstone we welcome back the Semitones male voice choir. All are welcome.

We're looking to get our Code Club up and running again and are looking for young coders aged 8 and above to join us! We are looking to start up on a Monday or Wednesday evening.
