St Michael's Church St Michael’s is the church at the centre of Bishop’s Stortford. We try to offer something for every Christian.

We welcome families and have sessions for children of all ages at the main 10am Sunday service.

Charities Support Group Presentation, this Sunday 7th June – After our 10am service and coffee, the CSG has invited Rowena Worthington to tell us about the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza (one of our Lent Appeal charities) and also about projects in Egypt.

Bishop's Stortford Climate Action Group film screening - The People's Emergency Briefing, this Sunday 7th June, 3pm, WCC – “A 50-minute film describing climate change and its consequences. Following the screening we aim to prompt discussions with the audience and development of local actions. Further information about the film and the organisation which has produced it can be found at this website.” Tickets via Eventbrite or the Parish Office.

A 50-min film centred around the National Emergency Briefing. The frank facts, but also the huge opportunity if Government steps up and leads a WW2-scale response. Designed to be watched by communities together with their MP. Due for release 7th April.

Love Stortford ’26, Monday 15th – Saturday 20th June – Everyone is invited to walk with the Churches Together float in this year's carnival procession on Saturday 20th June. Join with Christians from all the churches to hand out 3000 small gifts to the crowds. The more people we have, the better we can demonstrate our unity in Christ. 10:30am at the Baptist Church Centre, Twyford Road to join the procession which starts at 11:15am. Wear your Love Stortford T-shirt if you have one, or if you don't, come as you are. If you’d like to organise your own project it would be warmly welcomed. Please let the Parish Office know! Funeral of Heather Johns, this Monday 1st June at 11am – The family warmly invite Heather’s church family and friends to her funeral and then refreshments in the WCC afterwards. No flowers please.
