Easter Saturday – Quiet Prayer & Reflection (6–7pm)

This Easter Saturday, our church will be open from 6–7pm for a gentle time of quiet prayer and reflection. This space is open to everyone, whether you are part of our community or simply looking for a place of peace.

There will be space to acknowledge the grief, confusion, and sense of waiting felt on Easter Saturday — and reflect on where we may experience these in our own lives.

There will be simple resources available to guide your reflection, and members of our prayer and pastoral team will be present for anyone who would like someone to sit or pray with.

This is not a led service rather a safe space for private reflection and prayer.

You are warmly invited to come as you are, stay for as long or as little as you wish, and use the space in whatever way feels right for you.

Don't forget to come and join us this evening as we worship and encounter Jesus together.

Family friendly worship and prayer is from 6.30 and from 7.30 a band from our youth group will lead us in worship together.

Tomorrow is an evening of prayer, reflection and worship.

Then on Sunday we have our Easter Sunday Celebration service at the usual times.

We hope to see you there!

Want to find out more about our De-Greecing the Church Conference on Saturday 25th April?

Here’s Mark Hendley sharing the heart behind the days run by The Stones Cry Out.

This conference will help you rediscover the richness of Scripture by exploring it through its original Hebrew worldview—rather than the Greek lens that often shapes our Western thinking. As we journey together, you’ll uncover how culture and perspective influence the way we read the Bible, and be equipped to understand God’s Word more clearly, grasp the mission of Jesus more deeply, and live out your faith with fresh insight and purpose.

Here is a rundown of all our events leading up to Easter Sunday.

On Thursday we host a Passover Meal at the Charis, please book in for this on the website.

On Friday we are hosting worship time with prayer and encounter stations. The early part of the evenings is aimed for families and the later part is for anyone in the church and will be led by a band made up of youth!

On Saturday we focus on prayer, with a time of quiet reflection and prayer for those feeling in the midst of Easter Saturday uncertainty and then will transition later to a time of led prayer, celebration and intercession.

We hope you can join us!

Join us on New Year’s Eve, starting at 10:00pm, as we gather to worship Jesus and welcome in 2026 together. This will be a warm and joyful evening of worship, prayer, thanksgiving, and games, giving us space to reflect on God’s faithfulness over the past year and to step into the new year with hope and expectation. As the year draws to a close, come and connect with our church community, centre our hearts on Jesus, and celebrate the start of 2026 together. All are very welcome.
