Planning Application, South of Hammonds Road - Ref. UTT/26/0672/OP.

There have been some posts on Facebook recently which appear to contradict each other, and this may lead to confusion for residents wishing to comment on this planning application.

Anyone wishing to comment should do so direct to Uttlesford District Council.

This is important because the Planning Officer's report will list the number of comments received, and any going only to the Parish Council will not be counted.

However, if anyone has any specific points e.g. the proximity of footpaths to existing houses etc, please forward these to the Parish Council.

We will be submitting a report, which will contain this kind of information. We will also take note of all of the resident's comments put on the UDC planning portal.

UDC have a minimum statutory period of 12 weeks before this application can go before the planning committee. In practice this period tends to be longer.

Once a date has been set for the planning committee to decide on whether to grant or refuse permission, we will let residents know and how anyone wishing to can attend the meeting and even speak.
