✨CML to Celebrate Foundation Day Globally; Major Archbishop Mar Raphael Thattil to Inaugurate✨
The Cherupushpa Mission League (CML), a vibrant Catholic lay organization that began in India and has now spread across the globe, will celebrate its Foundation Day at the international level on October 11, 2025, through an online gathering.
The event will be inaugurated by Archbishop Mar Raphael Thattil, the Major Archbishop of the Syro-Malabar Church and the Patron of CML.
The online session will be presided over by CML International President Mr Davis Vallooran, with the keynote address delivered by Bishop Mar Joseph Arumachadath, Chairman of the Syro-Malabar Church’s Vocations Commission.
Blessing addresses will be delivered by Bishop Mar Vincent Nellayiparambil and Bishop Mar Mathew Nellikkunnel, both members of the Vocations Commission.

A Legacy of Mission and Service
The Cherupushpa Mission League (CML) was founded in Bharananganam, India, by Fr. Joseph Maliparampil and P.C. Abraham (Kunjettan) with the vision of inspiring missionary vocations and promoting active lay involvement in the life of the Church.
Officially inaugurated on October 3, 1947, by Bishop Thomas Tharayil, CML has since evolved into one of the largest and most vibrant Catholic lay organizations in the world. Today, CML is active in countries including United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, and Qatar
