Experience the goodess of Jesus

04/10/2026

Friday evening, we had the joy of taking a number of our young people who meet weekly in youth group at Rowheath Pavilion Church to the Birmingham Youth Prayer Gathering.

It was a great evening of fellowship with other young people from youth groups accross the city, learning more about the principles of prayer, and going deeper in worship of our Lord Jesus Christ. 🙌

We’re grateful for the leaders who intentionally invest week after week in the lives of our young people, creating opportunities for them to encounter Jesus, grow in their faith and strengthen their daily walk with Him, while also building friendships and enjoying time together.

We pray that what God started in them on Friday will continue to grow in their everyday lives. ❤️

We love baptism! What a joy to see people we walk alongside take this step of faith and publicly declare their faith in Jesus. We witnessed this last Sunday.

We wrap up the week from an amazing few days at Emerge Youth Camp 2026

Our young people had a fantastic time joining others from across the country for a week of worship, biblical teaching, friendship, fun, and adventure at the Pioneer Centre in Cleobury Mortimer.

This year's theme, "Foundations of Jesus Christ," challenged us to consider what we're building our lives upon. We saw our young people step out of their comfort zones, taking on high ropes, abseiling, meeting new people, and overcoming some of their fears physically, mentally, and spiritually.

It was also a privilege to watch new friendships form, confidence grow, and young people engage deeply in worship, prayer, and God's Word.

Our prayer is that the seeds planted this week will continue to grow, as we see in Mark 4, raising a generation of young people who know, love, follow and share Jesus.

Thank you to our leaders and volunteers who accompanied the young people, to all the parents for entrusting us with your young people, and to everyone who generously gave and prayed to make this camp possible. Your support is helping invest in the next generation.

"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 3:11 🙏❤️

What an incredible week of outreach and mission in our neighbourhood!

We were blessed to partner with the wonderful team from Campus City Church in Chicago, alongside the amazing volunteers from Rowheath Pavilion Church. Together, we welcomed over 500 people across a range of activities, sharing the love of Christ in both word and action.

The good news of salvation was proclaimed, practical love was demonstrated, and God's name was glorified throughout the week.

As we reflect on Mark 4:1-20 in scripture, we give thanks to God for every conversation, every act of kindness, and every seed that has been sown. Our prayer is that these seeds will take root, grow, and bear lasting fruit in the lives of those we met.

To God be all the glory!

As we wrapped up school year 2025/26, what a fantastic way to celebrate together! 💦☀️

Our end-of-school-year water fight was full of laughter, fun, and plenty of soaking! It was wonderful to see so many children, families, and members of our community enjoying the afternoon together.

Thank you to everyone who came along, helped out, and made it such a memorable event for all who took part. We pray that everyone has a safe, restful, and joy-filled summer.

We invite you all to our Family Summer Olympics Fun next week. 20th - 24th

RPC youth joined together with young people from across the city of Birmingham to celebrate 60 years of Birmingham City Mission's work. It was a wonderful time of praise, worship, prayer, encouragement and a demonstration of unity.

07/06/2026

Join us this morning at 10.30 for a family praise and worship service. In Mark 2:1-12, friends of a paralysed man were so desperate to get him to Jesus because they had faith He could heal him. Jesus did so because of his love and compassion. Let’s come to Jesus today with that same desperation to pour out our love, adoration and faith in Him.
