Good morning, we have a family looking to replace their broken tv. Does anyone have one they no longer use?

Appeal for items:

A lady has been moved into council accommodation and is in need of a double bed (no mattress needed), 2 seater sofa, table and chairs either for 2 or 4 people, a double duvet set and bed sheets. She is without all of these.

A further request for a family with 3 children. They are in need of a double bed and mattress, single bed and mattress.

Can you help?

We would like to make 30 holiday hampers to help local families eat well this summer. Families sometimes struggle to provide the extra food needed over the holidays, especially if their children usually receive free school meals. We don't want any children in our community to go hungry this summer.

The list below shows what makes up a food parcel for a family for a week. Might you be able to donate any of the following, please?

Cereal x 2 large
Soup (can/packet) x 6
Beans/spaghetti in sauce x 6
Tomatoes/pasta sauce x 6
Tinned veg × 5
Tinned meat x 3 OR Vegetarian x 3
Tinned Fish x 5
Tinned Fruit x 3
Rice pudding/custard x 2
Sponge pudding x 2
Biscuits x 2 large packet
Pasta/rice x 3kg
Instant mash/noodles x 2 packets
Tea or coffee or Hot Chocolate (160 bags/large jar)
Squash x 2 litre
UHT milk x 3 litres
Snacks/crisps x 1 large packet
Sauces x 1 bottle
Chocolate x 1 large bar
Jam/spreads x 1 jar

Other ways to help:

* donate money so others can purchase the items
*help up make up the hampers on Sunday 21st July
*deliver food parcels after the service on the 21st

Does anyone have any bikes they could donate that would be a suitable size for teenagers?
We can service them and put new parts on if needed. They are for a needy family that are being moved a distance away from their schools. It would be a massive help and some fun for the family too 😁☀️🚴🏼‍♂️🚴‍♀️

KCC have started collecting Easter Eggs for our lovely families.
Would you be able to buy an Eggstra egg when you are at the supermarket and donate to our basket in the church porch before April 14th.
It is such an eggcellent cause 😀
