Sunday 27th September we will celebrate God's generosity to us as we bring our "harvest" to share with others. One half of our giving will be to support the work of Birmingham City Mission. One half will continue our support of Northfield Community Partnership.

Every Wednesday morning (10.30-noon) we meet at Northfield Baptist Church to sit with each other - a safe place where it is OK to take off our mask and say it as it is.

We all share this one thing - we have experienced grief and loss. And it somehow feels easier when we can share that experience with others who listen with understand rather than judgment.

Yesterday, we visited Birmingham Hospice to visit the Astro the Memorabull (last year we raised money for one of the stars), to remember those we have lost and to leave simple messages which we hope will encourage others on their own grief journey.

Thank you to Northfield Neighbourhood Network Scheme - Northfield Community Partnership for helping to fund this valuable activity.

It was a privilege for us to share in Trees induction to the ecumenical Chaplaincy Team at The Greenhouse at Barnes Close and to affirm her in this new stage of ministry.

Along with the Heart of England Baptist Association and the Baptist Union of Great Britain we pray that Trees will know God's power and presence as she fulfils this calling as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to serve the people of this centre for justice and reconciliation with love and in obedience to the pattern of Christ.
