AFRESH - an evening of worship & new songs ✨

Come and join us for a special evening of worship, as we celebrate original worship songs written by local church songwriters.

This is an opportunity to celebrate the beautiful diversity of the Church - different backgrounds, nationalities, experiences and stories, yet united in Jesus.

Expect live performances, stories behind the songs, opportunities to meet the writers and most importantly, a time of worship together.

Friday 18th September from 7pm.

Whether you come from Four Oaks Baptist Church or another local church, whether you write songs or simply love to worship…

🚨 Important reminder! 🚨 This Sunday is the first Sunday in September - which means a few things…

On the first Sunday of the month we hold our Family Table - a service for all ages, with all-age worship, communion, a shorter, engaging talk and opportunities for younger members to be involved in different parts of the service. We're creating space for everyone to take part, while keeping things accessible and meaningful for all ages.

Whether you come on your own or as part of a family, this will be a warm, relaxed and inclusive service, with resources available for those who may find it helpful.

↘️ This week’s service is at 11am ↙️

This is the first of our new morning service schedule - with an 11am service every single week, and a 9am service every week except the first Sunday (where we join as one congregation to worship together for our family service).

Refreshments will be served from 10am till 11am every Sunday morning.

And finally - there is an evening service this Sunday evening! Every 1st and 3rd Sunday we join for Closer - an evening of praise, prayer and a reflection on a Psalm. We are diving in Psalm 27 this week, and would love for you to join us from 6.30pm.

Why not come along and try something new this September.

We love our church - especially the outside!

This coming Saturday we are holding a garden working party from 11am till 1pm. It’s a time to get our church garden and grounds looking its best as we head into a new season, and we’d love you to come and get stuck in.

Our garden team is 100% volunteer run, and we’re looking for a few more helping hands. You don’t need to be a gardening expert; whether you love gardening or have never picked up a pair of secateurs, if you fancy spending a couple of hours outdoors on Saturday then there’s a job for you! All ages are welcome.

Saturday 5th September - 11am till 1pm (please note the change from the usual time)

This is a great opportunity to give something back to our church, get to know others in our church family and help make our church a welcoming space for everyone.

There will be refreshments provided ☕️🍰

September incoming…

We are looking forward to jumping back into some of the regular groups and meetings that happen at FOBC during the week - here’s a rundown of what’s on this week!

Our Tuesday lunchtime Bible study will be back at 1pm, continuing with our study of the book of Revelation.

And then Wednesday evening our mid-week prayer meeting is back from 7pm. Join us in the Upper Room and spend an hour in prayer and praise, lifting up prayers for our world, for our church, and for each other.

Why not try something new this September and join us.

Last Friday in August! 🚨

August has flown by, and we’ve had some really fabulous time together in our church and coffee shop with all the various activities that have been on offer.

We’d love to see you along for one last day together this Friday - with a morning of family crafts, games and film, an afternoon of hanging out together (with donuts!) and an evening of board games at our monthly board game night Four Oaks Baptist Church - Board game group.

Whenever we see you - everyone is welcome.
