Tonight we officially welcomed Rev Tokunbo Asogbon to the Birmingham Methodist Circuit, after we had welcomed him to Selly Oak this morning. There was a strong contingent from Selly Oak at Carrs Lane in a packed church, with members from across the circuit. We had sandwiches and cakes and tea after the service.

We’re delighted to let you know that Selly Beans will resume on Tuesday, 8 September, from 9:30am–11:30am! 🎉

We look forward to welcoming all our little ones and families back after the summer break. 🥰

Today was a happy but bittersweet service as we said goodbye to Farai as our minister after five years. Farai celebrated by baptising three of her grandchildren in what was a joyous occasion. We shared a communion meal of bread and w**e, with cake for after! Thank you Farai for your preaching and pastoral work over the last five years. We’ll still see you from time to time as you are staying in the Circuit as a Superintendant.
