It’s the first Sunday of the month 🎂 and the Birthday Box travelled with Birmingham Citadel Band to Paisley Salvation Army where everyone with a birthday in June got to pick a little treat🍫 including one of our members Stuart who is celebrating his birthday today!

We wish everyone with a birthday in June a very happy Birthday🥳

Our Band will be visiting Paisley Corps over the weekend with a small group at Clydebank Corps on Sunday morning.

Our meeting will be led by Majors Miriam and Vic Kennedy this Sunday at the Hall and on livestream

This Volunteers’ Week we want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who serves The Salvation Army in their own time.

Our volunteers bring their best selves, their God-given energies and their convictions to support our vital work. They are enthusiastic, committed and eager to give their time and skills to care for some of the most marginalised and vulnerable people in our society.

We were so pleased to enrol two new members (Senior Soldier) in to our church family, the ceremony conducted by Corps Leader Keely Standley.

When a Salvation Army soldier is enrolled, they publicly demonstrate their decision by signing and making a covenant with God.

Soldiers know we cannot live out the promises we make without the help of God every day.

Today we welcomed Wendy and Thomas as the newest soldiers at Birmingham Citadel.

Please join us in congratulating them both on their enrolment.
