CHURCH HIGHLIGHT: Last Sunday people of all ages gathered at St James the Great, Shirley (Shirley Parish B90) to explore the wildlife and biodiversity of their churchyard.

Children enjoyed discovering the plants and creatures living around the church grounds, learnt about caring for creation, and even created bee drinking stations to help support local pollinators.

Churches Count on Nature is one of many ways churches across Birmingham and the region are appreciating and protecting local habitats.
