We are now based in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built building situated in the heart of the local community on Lozells Road with the capacity to cater for over 4000 people. The site then known as 213-215 Lozells Road was bought in 1984 by the management committee with the intention of constructing the first purpose-built mosque in Lozells. ue began in May 1999, reaching completion in 2010. The construction of the mosque (Phase 1) cost over £2.5million which has been donated by the local community in and around Lozells. In 2015, we embarked on the Phase 2 Expansion of Lozells Central Mosque, building a purpose built education centre for over 700 students who study at Lozells Central Mosque, which reached completion in 2018. From 2018, Lozells Central Mosque acquired numerous properties around the Mosque including 219-221 Lozells Rd, in order to begin the biggest expansion thus far. The Phase 3 Expansion is now underway with everyone's support Alhamdulilah.
