Beside the Seaside – Week 6

An empty net becomes full - a broken disciple is restored.

As we come to our final service in our summer series 'Beside the seaside' we'll encounter the time when Jesus met with the disciples for breakfast on the beach. We'll discover how the risen Jesus met Peter beside the sea and offered him forgiveness, hope and a new beginning.

This week's service will be a Sunday Flip, with everyone invited to read John 21 beforehand and come ready to share their thoughts and reflections as we learn together.

Whether you've joined us for every week or this would be your first visit, we'd love to welcome you.

Beside the Seaside – Week 5

Peter steps out of the boat and for a moment, he walks on water - but then fear takes over. In our service today we'll explore this remarkable story and discover what it means to keep our eyes on Jesus in times of uncertainty.

During the service there will also be an opportunity to write a Message of Courage—a postcard of encouragement for someone who could do with a little hope this week. Have a think about who you might want to send a message to and remember to bring a note of any addresses you might want to use along with you.

Everyone is welcome.

During our upcoming Sunday service (23rd August) there will be an opportunity to write a Message of Courage—a postcard of encouragement for someone who could do with a little hope this week.

You're invited to come prepared by thinking this week about who you could send a card to and what you might write. Please also remember to bring a note of addresses so the cards can be sent off promptly.

Beside the Seaside – Week 4

Life can sometimes feel like being caught in a storm.

In our service this Sunday, starting at 11am as usual, we'll hear the story of how Jesus calmed the wind and the waves and discover the peace He still offers today.

Our worship this week will be quieter and more reflective, and will include sharing Communion together.

Whether life feels calm or stormy right now, you'd be very welcome to join us.

Beside the Seaside – Week 3

Five loaves, two fish and thousands of hungry people.

This Sunday morning, from 11am, we'll explore one of Jesus' best-known miracles and discover what can happen when we place what little we have into His hands.

After the service, you're warmly invited to stay for our Church Picnic. Bring your own picnic (and a camping chair or two or a blanket) and let's enjoy time together as we eat.

Don't forget your picnic! After our Sunday service this week we'll have the opportunity to share together over food - either in the manse garden or the hall depending on the weather. Please also remember to bring garden chairs and/or a picnic blanket.
