A brand new Introduction to Latin class begins at the Birmingham Oratory tomorrow at 8pm.

Latin classes by Fr Richard Duncan are resuming on Fridays at 8pm.

High Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour in Wolverhampton on Saturday at 11am for the proper date of the Assumption. There is a Missa Cantata at the Birmingham Oratory at the same time.

The Obligation for the Solemnity of the Assumption has been transferred to Sunday 16th August this year, where the usual Masses at the Birmingham Oratory will take place (Low Mass at 7.30am, High Mass at 10.30am). However, Solemn Mass will also be celebrated at 11am on Saturday 15th August at both the Birmingham Oratory and Our Lady of Perpetual Succour in Wolverhampton.

Please note that due to the Novena Mass (English) there will be no Latin Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour tonight. A Mass will instead be celebrated at 9.15am on Saturday morning (27th June 2026)

There will be a votive Mass of the Sacred Heart tonight at 6pm tonight (17th June 2026) at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour in Wolverhampton, replacing the usual Friday Mass which has been cancelled due to the annual Patronal Novena taking place there beginning tomorrow.

High Mass will be offered at the Birmingham Oratory on Monday 1st June for the transferred Patronal Feast of St Philip Neri, at 7.30pm replacing the usual 5.45pm Low Mass. There will similarly be a High Mass on 4th June for Corpus Christi Thursday

Mass at the Birmingham Oratory will be at 9am on Bank Holiday Whit Monday (25th May 2026), instead of the usual time of 5.45pm.

Please also note that due to the Octave of Pentecost, High Mass for the Patronal Feast of St Philip will take place on Monday 1st June at 7.30pm and not on Tuesday 26th May as advertised in Mass of Ages.
