Today is

Here's some wise words from Student Christian Movement and some resources to help churches "come out, so we know who to let in".

And anyone who's not sure why a church should do this, it's about safety, belonging and being genuinely loved, as we are.

This looks like a very interesting and worthwhile event for folk near enough to York. Tomorrow, 3rd October at St Luke's.

Particularly good to know that North-East voices are an embedded part of this too :) (I know, I'm biased)

For those of you who are so inclined, here's some protests happening in the next wee while you might want to engage with.

I personally particularly like the idea/offer to link up with others cos it's the only way I'd ever be able to go to one for sure! And even then it's probably beyond me.

I remain grateful to those who can do this witness work tho.

I've written a blog post "Queerly Beloved", a personal reflection on the choosing of names, labels and how language evolves.

Longer than my usual pieces for Inclusive Church but as LGBTQ history month starts in the USA and Canada today it seemed appropriate to share!

And the included poem 'This I Know' is almost exactly 15 years old now.
