We are delighted to have marked the installation of new Canons Robert Taylerson and Harry Curtis at St Chad’s Cathedral, on Tuesday 2 June. A significant moment for our diocesan community.
Their dedication and service will help guide and strengthen the Church in Birmingham for years to come. Please keep them in your prayers as they begin this important role.

The Burning Bush - Trinity Sunday
This week’s Burning Bush offers a short pause to be still and pray as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity.

In this reflection, Mgr Daniel McHugh draws on Pope Leo XIV’s recent encyclical Magnifica Humanitas, reminding us of the Church’s call to safeguard the dignity of every human person in a rapidly changing, digital world.

Through scripture, music, images, a homily and time of Adoration, this 10‑minute reflection is intended to lead us gently into personal prayer and renewed action.

In this week’s Burning Bush, Mgr Daniel McHugh invites us to pause and reflect on the dignity of the human person in the light of the Most Holy Trinity, drawing on Pope Leo XIV’s recent encyclical Magnifica Humanitas.
