Line dancing has been hugely popular in country-western bars and social clubs across the States for years, but more recently has seen growth in the UK too. The repeated pattern of steps makes them easy dances to pick up, and suitable for those who have never danced before, right up to seasoned two-steppers!
At the July 3rd South Street Social, experienced local line dancer, Emily, will be teaching a variety of modern and traditional line dances. These will be suitable for complete beginners and improvers, and you are free to join in with as much or as little as you are comfortable with. The Oasis Café will be selling soft drinks and snacks, and there will be plenty of seating round the edge of the dance floor for those who need a break from the boot stepping!
Doors open at 7:30pm for a 7:45pm start to the teaching, and tickets cost £5 via the link below!
