THE PROPHET ﷺ — STORIES THAT SPEAK TO US
EPISODE 11

The Prophet ﷺ taught us that even a small act of consideration for others can be an act of charity.

He said: “Removing harmful things from the pathway is charity.”

And in another narration, the Prophet ﷺ told us about a man who saw a harmful branch lying across the road.

He moved it out of the way so that people would not be harmed — and Allah admitted him to Paradise.

The Lesson
We often think helping our community means doing something big. But sometimes it means simply noticing a problem and doing something about it.

Picking up litter.
Moving something dangerous.
Making a path safer.

Small acts of care can have a big reward.

THE PROPHET ﷺ — STORIES THAT SPEAK TO US
EPISODE 10

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should serve his guest generously.”

In another authentic narration, he explained that a guest has a special right to hospitality, including being welcomed generously for the first day and night.

For the Prophet ﷺ, hospitality was not simply good manners or culture. It was connected to faith.

The Lesson
A guest should not feel like a burden. A warm welcome, a meal, a place to sit, or simply making someone feel comfortable can all reflect good character.

The way we welcome people says a lot about the kind of people we are.

THE PROPHET ﷺ — STORIES THAT SPEAK TO US
EPISODE 9

The Prophet ﷺ taught his Companions that charity is not only about money.

He said: “Your smiling in the face of your brother is charity.”

The Lesson
We often think making a difference requires money, time or something big.

But the Prophet ﷺ taught us that even the smallest acts of kindness matter.

A smile costs nothing — but it can brighten someone's day.

*THE PROPHET ﷺ — STORIES THAT SPEAK TO US*
EPISODE 8 — MAKE PEACE

The Prophet ﷺ taught his Companions that charity is not only about giving money.

He said that bringing justice between two people is charity.

In another authentic narration, the Prophet ﷺ himself went to a community where people were in dispute to help make peace between them.

*The Lesson*
We often think community service means giving money or organising events. But sometimes, serving your community means helping people reconcile.

Don't always add fuel to an argument. Sometimes the best thing you can do is help bring two people back together.
