In our church we think that absolutely everyone needs the transformation that God offers through his Son Jesus Christ. Without this, all our attempts to really change however noble do not ultimately deliver real, deep and lasting change. Transformation to us is an inner work of God within us, but it is something that is also worked out through us so that we demonstrate our transformation by love a
nd service to others in this world. We think everyone can be transformed, no one is beyond the reach of God’s love and grace. Transformation can never just be a nice idea, for it to be real it has to be demonstrated to others. Transformation is not just a theory to us but can be worked into our lives as we follow our fourfold strategy of transformation action…
BUILD… we build healthy lives that follow and apply the teachings of the Bible. As we build into our lives with the health that God shows us, healing comes and direction to be what we need to be. BELONG… to your Church and your Community. We cannot experience transformation on our own, we need others. We need to belong in the church, but we would also encourage real belonging to the other communities we interact with such as our work place, or our neighbourhood. God works his transformation through community and therefore belonging is vital. BECOME…we have to learn to know our gifts and our role in this world. Discovering our gifts and finding our role is a key part in becoming what God has intended. It is our conviction that progress, becoming something and going deeper is an important part of transformation. BE ASSIGNED…change your world. There is an assignment that is ours to live out. Staying at this assignment until we affect real change is an important part of our vision. Knowing that we are doing something that God has assigned us to is a key part of personal and corporate transformation.
