Shahida Nasreen d/o Abdul khaliq (late) Kala Gujran Jhelum and Hancock Road, Alum Rock.

on Tuesday 9th June 2026.

Mother of Waqas & Hamza

Sister of Shoukat, Zafar (late), Azam, Azar and Arshad.

May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) grant her the highest rank in Jannat‑al‑Firdous, and grant the entire family patience and strength (Sabr) during this difficult time.

Assalamu Alaikum
We are pleased to share with you the installation of the lift in our Masjid. As this project comes to a close in the next few days, we will all be able to benefit from the use of the lift service in our Masjid.

All of this is only possible through your generosity and kind donations.

Eid Mubarak to you all.

Eid ul Adha will be on Wednesday 27th May 2026 - Zia Ul Quran Jamia masjid would like to wish you all a blessed and happy Eid Mubarak.

May Allah SWT accept our ibadaah and forgive any sins during the blessed 10 days of Dhul Hijjah. May Allah swt accept the du'as of all the hujjaj and allow those who could not complete the blessed journey this year to perform the Hajj next year. Ameen Ya Rabb.

Please remember us, all those around the world & those who are not now with us - (& who are in need our prayers) in your du'as.

*Humble request, please do arrive promptly and be sure to park in the appropriate area and not to inconvenience our masjid neighbours. Please keep your children with you at all times and please do try to complete the first rows to ensure that we do not inconvenience those who come to pray Eid thereafter.

JANAZA ANNOUNCEMENT

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Haji Shah Nawaz (Washwood Heath Road). Dhok Kikriya, Khadimabad. Father of Arshad Mahmood and Amjid Mahmood, Late Yasmin Bashir, Rubeena Akhtar and Shamim Nawaz.

The Janazah prayer will take place today, Tuesday 26th May 2026 at 9.15pm, at Zia-Ul-Quran masjid (Bowyer Road).

Burial will take place tomorrow inshallah on Wednesday 27th May 2026 at 12.30pm, Sutton New Hall Cemetery, Lindrige Road, B75 7HX.

Eid ul Adha Announcement & Timings:

In-sha-Allah Eid ul Adha will be performed at Jamia Masjid Zia Ul Quran - Alum Rock on Wednesday 27th May 2026.

Timings are detailed below.

Our blessed Nabi Muhammad SalAllahu Alayhi Wasallam said,

'There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these 10 days'
[Sahih Bukhari]

May Allah allow us to take benefit and blessings from the remaining days of Dhul Hijjah. Ameen.
