The wedding blessing ceremony was organised today by the bridegroom, Dr Win Lwin Phyo, and the bride, Dr Thet Htet Naing Aung, through the offering of Dana to the Sangha. Over fifty friends and relatives attended the ceremony.

By the power of this wholesome deed, may the couple be blessed with long life, good health, harmony, prosperity, and peace, and may their married life be firmly established in mutual loving-kindness, respect and wisdom.

Dr Moe Thant, Ma Su Theingi Thant, and their only beloved son, Dr Chris Thant, together with their family, have generously donated a washing machine to Birmingham Buddhist Vihara.

They also organised Dana for the Sangha, inviting their Dhamma friends to participate and share the merits through the traditional water-pouring ceremony.

May the donors, their family members, and friends be well, happy, and prosperous. May they be blessed with good health, peace, and continued joy in the Dhamma.

(Late) Tagagyi BBC U Khin and his wife Tagamagyi Daw Aye Mya Khin’s 101 years birthday blessing ceremony was organised by daughters, sons and in laws led by Daw Khin Myo Thant, Leslie, Aye Aye Khin, Dr Soe Min Tun, Leonel Win Aung Khin, U Than Htu Khin, and supported all their families and relatives! Ceremony was held at Wembley Burmese Buddhist Vihara, London on 04-06-2026.

Tagamagyi Daw Aye Khin is not only one of our strong supporters and patron of the Vihara, but she is also a supporter of all UK Burmese Viharas. She is one of the longest Burmese communities members in the UK. She is now 101 year old. So her sons and daughters have organised this special blessing ceremonies by offering Dana to the sangha.

May Tagamagyi Daw Aye Mya Khin be free from all forms of suffering and realise the power that f internal please and bliss of nibbana!

Ko Ken Au and Ma Hlaing Myat Chitsu’s wedding blessing has taken place today by offering delicious meals to the sangha, and relatives. Parents both bride and bridegroom are attended at this auspicious ceremony!

Dana offering organised by Maya’s family in Norwich today attended by father, brother, sister and their entire family including two baby’s daughters Emma and Eleanor and received blessing from the monks after the Dana.
