All Saints -Old Church- with St Mary Magdalene, West Bromwich

All Saints -Old Church- with St Mary Magdalene, West Bromwich All Saints is the historic Church of West Bromwich and there has been a Christian presence on the site since the 11th Century.

It is well worth a visit to look around and say a prayer. Introduction to All Saints

All Saints church is a Church of England Parish Church in the modern Anglo-Catholic tradition. As well as usual worship, weddings, baptisms and funerals we would usually have a children's club, scouts, brownies and guides, luncheon club, drama group, choir, bell ringers, historical society and schools work, paren

t & toddlers. The Church was originally dedicated to St Clement and was given to the Convent of Worcester by Henry I, who afterwards granted it to the priory of Sandwell, who rebuilt the church in the Decorated period. The church was almost completely rebuilt in 1785-6, in the style of that period, and the upper part of the tower was renewed in 1824. In 1872 the church was thoroughly restored in the Decorated style, following the plan of the church which was demolished in 1786. It consists of a chancel with south aisle, nave with south aisle, organ chamber, south porch, and an embattled western tower with pinnacles, containing a clock and eight bells.
