DAY 1 | RESURGE FESTIVAL UK

What a powerful start to Resurge Festival UK! Birmingham, we worshipped, received, and were reminded of the reality of sonship: the Spirit of God lives in us, which means His Kingdom is in us and His nature should be reflected through our lives.

We’re so grateful for the powerful ministry of Minister who led us in worship and helped turn our gazes towards Jesus.

Day 1 was a reminder that Jesus is the revelation of who God is, and the Spirit always points us back to Him.

And this was only the beginning.

As sons of God, we have eternal life, carry His glory, and have received His power through the Holy Spirit.

Eternal life means union with Christ, calling us to live by faith and not merely by sight.

We carry His glory as we remain in His presence and are continually transformed into His likeness.

And through the Holy Spirit, we have the power of God within us: divine ability to overcome, produce, live victoriously, and escape the corruption of this world.

The life of God we have received should become evident in the life we live.

We are children of God because His Spirit dwells in us. We have received the Spirit of sonship, giving us the privilege to call God Father and to share in the inheritance of Christ.

As sons, we have received the gift of righteousness. Our righteousness is not our own. It is God’s righteousness given to us in Christ, enabling us to stand before God without guilt or inferiority.

But righteousness is not only what we have received. It is a life that must be expressed.

What we have received from God should shape how we live.

There are moments in worship when words become more than words. They become a declaration of who God is to us.

Today at Resurge Festival, Minister Esther Jonathan led us into one of those moments, turning our hearts towards the One who is worthy of our worship, our surrender, and our devotion.

In every season, He remains God. Faithful. Unchanging. Worthy.

Resurge Festival Day One

Sonship means the Spirit of God lives in us. His presence establishes His kingdom within us and gives us a lifestyle that reflects who God is.

The Father is the invisible source of all things.
Jesus is the visible manifestation and explanation of God. In Him, we see the Father’s nature revealed through love, salvation, and justification.
The Holy Spirit points us to Jesus, revealing Him to us and drawing our attention to the One who reveals God’s salvation.

Jesus is God explained.
