Ojiugo!Nwangwi means Chimpanzee/Pet Monkey. Nwangwi pue eze otaa onye nwe’ya, means when Chimpanzee grows teeth, he bites the owner. This is a very powerful proverbs to describe ingratitude or the Danger of nurturing something (or someone) that eventually turn against you. It carries two main lessons ;(1) Betrayal. (2) Nature. It’s often used as a warning to be careful about who you trust or “bring up”, especially if their character is questionable. So, in my wisest understanding, Nwangwi means Chimpanzee. Yaa gazi nu.
