The crescent moon has been sighted according to our criteria *first of Dhul Hijjah 1447 will be on Monday the 18th of May 2026.*

*Eid ul Adha 1447 AH will be on Wednesday the 27th of May 2026*

Month of Hajj Mubaarak to the Ummah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wasallam.

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
*Announcement*

The Muslim community is requested to attempt to sight the crescent moon for Shawwal 1447 AH on the *evening of Thursday 19th February 2026* , which corresponds to the 29th of Ramadan 1447 AH.

Any announcements regarding the start of Ramadan will be made only after sunset in the UK, following the receipt and verification of credible moon-sighting reports and testimonies.

May Allah accept your efforts and grant us the blessings of Ramadan.
