Sometimes we forget who we are to God, but Jesus keeps reminding us that we are loved, known, and never beyond His grace.

The more we abide in Him, the more we see the Father’s heart — full of mercy, healing, and restoration.

Surprise!!!

Over the retreat weekend, the congregation had some words to say to our dear Pastor Bert - and here’s the result (we promise everything we say is just part of our love language 🫂)

What else are you grateful to Bert for? 💌

We want to recognise God’s voice, but there’s so much noise fighting for our attention — stress, distractions, anxiety, our own thoughts. Slowly, those things can start stealing life from us.

So how do we learn to hear Him?

By spending time in His Word, walking with Him daily, and making space for the Spirit to speak.

Because the goal isn’t just to hear God’s voice — it’s to follow Him into a full life.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” — John 10:10

In John 9, the Pharisees responded with condemnation.

But the healed blind man responded with worship.

He didn’t have every answer or understand fully how God worked. He simply said: “One thing I do know, I was blind but now I see.”

Maybe you were a slave to p**n, but now you experience His freedom.

Maybe you were depressive, but now you know Christ who lifts you up.

Maybe you were anxious, but now know a trustworthy Father.

If God has changed your life, let it be known. ✨

What’s one thing Jesus has done in your life lately?

The love of God that we experience isn’t just for ourselves. It’s meant to overflow to others.

Think: your family, your workplace, your friends, your community, your church, your ministry and so on…

What would it look for each one of us to overflow? Share your thoughts.

Do you find it hard to receive love?

Maybe you think you don’t deserve it, or you know His love for you but you can’t feel it.

It’s essential to understand that we can’t conjure a feeling and grasp the width, depth, length, high the love of Christ is by our own strength. It’s by his Spirit that He helps us surpass just knowledge of His love, to being strengthen, rooted, able to grasp and be filled with the full measure of Christ.

Let’s simply ask to receive His love each day.

On Good Friday, a group of us walked through the city, reflecting on Jesus’ journey to the cross, praying for our city and for people to know Jesus, and thanking Him for His incredible sacrifice.

Every prayer is heard. Every prayer draws us closer to His heart. And prayer changes things. ✨

“Pray unceasingly” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17

When we think of “trying,” we think… ugh, effort.

But it’s really a chance to explore, connect, and grow.

Try. Keep trying.
You’ll be surprised by the new perspectives you discover.
