Commitment to God is not the price of His blessing, but the response to His covenant love.

Since Christ has borne the full weight of perfect obedience on our behalf, we are free to follow Him. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light.

The path of obedience is the path of abundance, for abundant life is found in wholehearted devotion to God.

The steadfast love and faithfulness of God place a melody of hope within our souls.

Whether a psalm of lament or a psalm of hope, a song of sorrow or a song of joy, our souls can still sing even when our bodies and minds are weary. For our song is not grounded in our circumstances, but in God’s everlasting love and the hope of the gospel.

The call to holiness is the call to follow Christ with a single, pure, and passionate heart.

In God’s holiness, our actions and motives are brought into His light, where nothing remains hidden. We are reminded once again: apart from Christ’s grace, we could never stand before Him.

It may be time to humbly come before Him and pray,
‘Father, purify our hearts for Your glory. Help us lay down our ambitions, purposes, and plans beneath Your will. Refine our desires until You alone are our one desire.’

The quiet place is where God’s limitlessness meets our human limitations.

In solitude, we enter the house of the Lord, where His love welcomes us as we are, enabling us to face ourselves honestly. There, we receive the gifts of grace, compassion, and acceptance.

When our hearts are set on His presence, we are granted a strength that never runs dry. In solitude, we are gradually reoriented from ourselves and the voices around us to the God to whom we belong.

This week, let’s set aside 20 minutes each day to sit in solitude with Psalm 84 and simply dwell in God’s presence.

When we cling to our sense of inadequacy, we may either fall into self-pity or become too prideful to acknowledge our weakness. We are all inadequate, yet in Christ we can experience life in all its fullness.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

When we rely on God’s power, we will witness His ability at work in our inadequacy.

Happy Father’s Day!

Countless thanks to the dads in our lives who have loved us, prayed for us, and taught us about our Heavenly Father. We are so grateful for you. 💙

Today, take a moment to pray for your dad!

We long for the security we were created to have with God. However, our shortcomings often lead us to search for certainty in the wrong places, forgetting that the reality of life is intertwined with constant change.

Everything is a gift from God, including seasons of uncertainty. Perhaps these are the moments when we learn to hold fast to our God, who is faithful, unchanging, and completely trustworthy.

Gradually, we may discover that our deepest security is found in knowing Jesus Himself. He is always with us, even before our faith can fully grasp it.

There are two kinds of treasures: treasures on earth and treasures in heaven.

Jesus calls us to seek heavenly treasure—worth more than anything else we could possess. But doing so requires intentional choices: to seek, discern, weigh, let go, and pursue what truly lasts.

Christian simplicity is the practice of ordering our hearts so that Jesus becomes our primary treasure amid the complexity of life. It is a discipline that sets our lives before God, creating space for Him to form in us the grace of simplicity.

After all, every treasure of great worth is found through earnest and patient seeking. Why should the treasure of heaven be any different?
