Bingham Methodist Church

Bingham Methodist Church We are a forward looking church which has completed a £2m rebuild of our premises in 2016 creating a modern worship space with community facilities.

• We want to share the love of our Lord Jesus Christ with all the people of Bingham in Nottinghamshire and surrounding villages. We aim to offer a welcoming & safe experience for anyone using our premises. We recently opened our new £2m building which now provides modern multi-purpose facilities and a base for Christian Witness in our community.

Bingham Methodist Church recently celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the opening of the new Methodist Centre.
On Saturday 11th April over 100 people came together for a time of fellowship, a sumptuous buffet followed by entertainment provided by members of our congregation.
On Sunday morning we all came together again when 5 of our previous ministers and our current minister led a service of praise and thanksgiving.
The innovative building, designed by Allan Joyce Architects, was built on the site of the old church and completed in April 2016. The project was funded by grants, money raised through and by the congregation and loans of over £650,000. During the weekend the treasurer was able to announce that the debt had virtually been repaid with just £10,000 outstanding, 15 years ahead of schedule.

Today is Palm Sunday which marks the start of Holy Week for the Christian church.

Each day this week the church will be open to reflect upon the events leading up to Good Friday and the celebration of Easter Sunday.

We extend a warm welcome for you to experience the Easter journey and the impact it still has on the world today 2000 years later.
