As many of you will have heard Harold Dale passed away early Monday morning.

We would like to make people aware of his funeral arrangements. Prior to hopefully be sharing official announcement later today, but here are the funeral details;

1pm Tuesday 14th April (week on Tuesday)
At All Souls Bilston Methodist Church (formerly known as Bilston Methodist), Bow Street Bilston, WV14 7NB.

Service will be led by Rev Steve Singleton (who was our minister some years ago and led our mum’s funeral service in 2008).

After the service the family will go off to Bushbury Crematorium for the committal. Before returning to church for an English Afternoon Tea which we’d like people to join us at.

As I say further details very soon.

This Sunday 26th November 2023 will be an emotional day. At 11am the final service of Bilston Methodist Church takes place. After 200 years of worship it is time to end this current chapter.

Please join us for one last time. We will love to see a full church for this final service.

Reminder that the fun starts 6:30pm tomorrow at Bilston Methodist Methodist Church. An evening of food, fireworks, laughter, memories, awards and surprises.

Don’t forget we’ll end up outside with a spectacular firework display.

Come and join the celebration. 200 years is a lot to celebrate.

Food, fireworks and friendship - It’s going to be a very special celebration weekend at Bilston Methodist.

If you are coming in Saturday night then there will be food available from 6:30pm. Come and join the celebration.

Our Celebration Sunday Service will be 11am on Sunday 5th November. A real celebration weekend.

We can now breathe easier because first batch of books ‘Bilston Methodist History & Memories’ have just arrived from the publishers.

So people at our big celebration event Saturday night will be able to buy them for £13 (card or cash). All profits go to Action for Children.

They will be available from Amazon and other online book sellers from November 13th.

8 Days until the big celebration day and here is the first look at the cover of our special book that will be released on the day.

We have had lots of people say they are coming. Really looking forward to seeing so many former members. The pizzas are ordered, the celebration choir well rehearsed and risk assessments on the spectacular firework display done.

If you sre still undecided then I really recommend you join us to celebrate 200 years (6:30 Saturday 4th November), it’ll be a blast!!

So excited by the replies we are getting to our big 200th Celebration Event on Saturday 4th November. People coming from all generations of our church. Several travel major distances. It is going to be an amazing event Plesse keep spreading the word.
