⏰ GOOD NEWS! YOU GET AN EXTRA HOUR AT CHURCH TOMORROW! 🙌😂

Don’t forget — the clocks go BACK one hour tonight! ⏰

Apparently, that means we all get an extra hour in bed… but who are we kidding? 🤷‍♂️ Our body clocks will still wake us up at the usual time anyway! 😴😂

So we’ve been thinking… why waste that extra hour?

Should we add it to…

🎤 THE SERMON — an extra hour of preaching! 🙏

🙌 THE WORSHIP — another hour of praise! 🎶

☕ THE REFRESHMENTS — an extra hour of tea, coffee and biscuits! 🍪

YOU DECIDE! 👇😂

Let us know in the comments where you’d spend your extra hour!

And don’t forget to put your clocks back tonight. We’d hate for you to turn up an hour early tomorrow… although the refreshments team might appreciate the help! 🤣

See you Sunday at Excel! ❤️

Faithfulness isn’t about how much we have—it’s about how we handle what God has placed in our hands.

On Sunday, Pastor Dek reminded us that our time, talents, treasure, opportunities and even the gospel itself have been entrusted to us. God isn’t looking for fame or impressive platforms; He is looking for reliability, integrity and a joyful willingness to serve.

Don’t wait for the palace. Be faithful where you are. Use what God has given you, serve Jesus with joy and trust Him with what comes next.

Can God trust us with what He has placed in our hands?

Whether or not we have a title, in some capacity we all lead—and every one of us influences somebody.

On Sunday, Heather Dudfield challenged us to think beyond position and consider our character, influence and legacy. The lives of Hezekiah and Manasseh remind us that today’s decisions can affect people long after we are gone.

The question isn’t simply, “Am I leading?” It’s: Where is my influence taking people—closer to Jesus or further away from Him?

Let’s build for more than today. Let’s hand the next generation faith, prayer, conviction, a love for Scripture and a church they can continue to build upon.

🏗️ HEALTHY CHURCH: BUILT TO LAST 🙌

A move of God needs structure to sustain it.

This Sunday at Excel, we’re launching our fourth and final Healthy Church series of 2026!

Throughout this year, we’ve been exploring what it means to be a healthy church. Now, as we begin this final four-part series, we’re looking at how we build a church that is strong, healthy and ready for the future God has for us. 🙏

Over the next four weeks, we’ll be exploring:

🔹 Godly Leadership – Leading with humility, integrity and accountability.

🔹 Faithful Stewardship – Honouring God with what He’s entrusted to us.

🔹 Caring for the Flock – Building a church where people are loved, supported and cared for.

🔹 Growing Disciples, Releasing Leaders – Raising up people who will make a difference for God’s Kingdom.

Because a healthy church isn’t just about growing bigger — it’s about growing deeper, stronger and building something that lasts! 💪

📅 Starts this Sunday, 11th October
⏰ 10:30am & 5pm
📍 Excel Church

We’d love you to join us as we discover what it takes to build a church that’s ready for all God wants to do!

God is the God of more—not simply more possessions or opportunities, but more of His presence, His refreshing and His life flowing through us. 💧

On Sunday, Shirley Dudfield reminded us that dry and difficult seasons do not have to define us. When we remain connected to God and allow the Holy Spirit to fill us afresh, He enables us to endure the heat, remain fruitful and become more like Jesus.

Let’s not settle for dry ground. Let’s ask God for more—and allow His living water to flow through us into our families, church and community. 🌿

If you missed Shirley’s message, you can listen/watch again via our YouTube channel!
