We’re delighted that once again the Stradivarius Piano Trio are coming to St Mary’s Church on 13th September for a concert at 6:00pm. Tickets are £25. It is an opportunity to support excellence in music and particularly in our church building. Ticket sales go towards the Shipley Arts Festival. It would be lovely to see you if you can make it and to support Andrew Bernardi and his team as they seek to nurture musical talent in our local area. Tea and coffee will be available.

Good afternoon church!

We welcome this wonderful new month of September and all it has to offer. I hope you are well and have been enjoying the parts of summer that you can.

This is just a gentle reminder to all of our lovely ladies in the congregation and community that our sanctuary group restarts for a new term this coming Thursday 3rd September. As usual, we will meet at 7:00pm in St. Mary‘s Room.

There is no need to bring anything with you although a Bible can be helpful. Refreshments are provided by the ladies who take it in terms to provide a cake for us to share.

You would be sincerely welcome to come and join us.

We have a gentle mix of well-being and Bible study and this week’s session will certainly be gently easing back into the new term predominantly catching up with one another and our news.

We are excited to be hosting the Bernardi Music Group BMG Live for an evening of classical music, including the World Premiere Performance of Angel of Pripyat by Mark Copping.

As part of the Shipley Arts Festival's celebration of musical excellence, creativity, and community The Stradivarius Piano Trio will perform a powerful and varied programme including:

Our kids are loving Splash Holiday Club! An excellent week full of games, crafts, Bible teaching, worship, and friendship. Thank you to the Splash team for putting on such a fun and valuable week for our communities ❤️

Holiday Club Day 3 - We heard about the good Samaritan with the help of the Splash Paramedic team!

Stories, songs, games and craft made for another great day - the children are so creative and full of energy 🙂

Good morning church.

Hope everybody is well and enjoying the last few days of July.

This is just a gentle reminder for the ladies in the church and wider community that our Sanctuary group (which is specifically designed just for ladies) will be hosting their end of term summer party this coming Thursday (30th July) at 7:00pm in St Mary’s Room.

It will be a simple but fun evening with some entertainment and good food, and it would be wonderful to see you there if you would like to come and join in. All ladies are welcome regardless of whether you have ever attended a session before. I can assure you of a warm welcome.

I also have dates for the subsequent sessions to the end of year which I will be handing out on Thursday.
