Billingham Baptist Church Our Church is made up of all kinds of ordinary people. They are all different but all love Jesus! We'd love to meet you! We hope to see you soon!

We meet every Sunday morning at 10.30am to worship God and learn more about Him. We also have several things going on; children's clubs; guides & brownies; line dancing; ladies’ MOT group; men's club. We’d love to get to know you. A prayer for Good Friday

Jesus,

I grieve that the torture and sorrow You endured on the cross were necessary to save humanity. You didn’t want us enslaved to the lies of fear, anxiety, or sin—so You sacrificed Yourself so that Truth could win.

“It is finished” was a cry of victory, because You defeated everything that held us in captivity.

Because of Your sacrifice, I can experience new life. Thank You!

Show me how to stay rooted in Your Truth, and use me to reach the world You died to set free.

Amen.

What a wonderful day we have had today, looking at the 4th Sunday in advent this morning and the topic of love and then our candlelight carol service this evening with a very full church, standing room only!

Lots of mingling and Christmas catch-ups afterwards. Such a great day!
