Theme: The Bread that never fails!

In the first reading, Isaiah invites everyone who is thirsty to come freely and receive what truly satisfies. God offers not only food for the body but nourishment for the soul. His love and mercy are gifts that cannot be bought, only received with grateful hearts.

This promise comes alive in the Gospel. Faced with a hungry crowd, the disciples see only five loaves and two fish. Jesus, however, sees an opportunity to reveal God's abundance. He blesses the little that is offered, and it becomes enough for thousands. The miracle reminds us that when we place our small gifts in Christ's hands, He can accomplish far more than we imagine.

Saint Paul strengthens this message in the second reading by declaring that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. Trials, fears, losses, and uncertainties may shake us, but they cannot overcome the love that God has poured into our lives. We are victorious because Christ remains faithful.

Today, we are invited to trust in God's generous heart. He satisfies our deepest hunger, multiplies our humble offerings, and never abandons us. As we receive His love, may we also become bread for others sharing hope, kindness, and compassion with all we meet. In God's hands, no gift is too small no life is beyond His loving care.

Theme: Wisdom is the Greatest Treasure!

The readings today remind us that the greatest treasure we can ever have is not wealth, success or power, but a life rooted in God's wisdom and His Kingdom.

In the First Reading (1 Kings 3:5–12), Solomon asks God for wisdom instead of riches. His choice shows that true wisdom comes from recognising our need for God. Wisdom helps us make choices that reflect God's will rather than our own desires.

In the Gospel (Matthew 13:44-52), Jesus compares the Kingdom of Heaven to a hidden treasure and a priceless pearl. Those who find it gladly give up everything to possess it. This teaches us that nothing in this world is more valuable than a relationship with God which is wisdom.

In the Second Reading, St. Paul, in Romans 8:28-30, reminds us that God works all things for the good of those who love Him. Even in difficult moments, God remains faithful and continues to guide us towards His purpose.

These readings invite us to examine what we treasure most. If we seek God above everything else, we 2/2 discover lasting joy, peace, ana hope. Like Solomon, may we pray for wisdom. Like the merchant in the Gospel, may we choose the treasure that never fades Jesus Christ, is the source of true life and ete happiness. Amen.

Theme: We are not alone in our struggles.

Our first reading reveals a God who is powerful, yet astonishingly patient. In the Book of Wisdom 12:13,16-19, we learn that God's strength is expressed through mercy. Instead of condemning sinners immediately, He gives them time to change, teaching us that true greatness is found in compassion, not in punishment.

In the Gospel of Matthew 13:24-43, Jesus explains the parable of the wheat and the weeds. We may wonder why God allows evil to exist. Yet Jesus reminds us that the harvest belongs to Him. We often judge too quickly, but God sees every heart and every possibility for conversion. His patience is an invitation, not an approval of evil. It is a chance for every person to return to Him.

St. Paul writing in Romans 8:26-27 offers great comfort by assuring us that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. When words fail us, the Spirit intercedes for us and leads us according to God's will. We are never alone in our struggles. These readings challenge us to be patient with ourselves and with others. lnstead of focusing on the faults around us, let us cultivate the virtues of faith, hope, and charity. As we cooperate with God's grace, the good seed He has planted within us will bear abundant fruit, and we shall shine like the righteous in the kingdom of our Father.

THEME: God's word never fails!

The readings remind us that God's word is living, effective, and always brings forth life. In the first reading Isaiah 55:10-11, the prophet compares God's word to rain that waters the earth, assuring us that it never returns empty but fulfils His divine purpose. Even when we cannot see immediate results, God is quietly at work.

In the Second Reading from St. Paul's letter to the Romans 8:18-23, Paul encourages us to persevere with hope. While we experience suffering and witness a world longing for renewal, Paul reminds us that present hardships cannot compare with the glory God has prepared. Like creation awaiting redemption, we are called to trust God's unfolding plan.

In the Gospel of Matthew 13:1-23, Jesus teaches that the fruitfulness of God's word depends on the condition of our hearts. The seed is always good; what matters is whether we receive it with openness, perseverance, and faith. Distractions, worries, and superficial faith can hinder its growth, but a receptive heart produces an abundant harvest.

These readings challenge us to become good soil by listening attentively, trusting patiently, and living faithfully. As we welcome God's word each day, we can be confident that He is transforming our lives and preparing a harvest of hope, holiness, and lasting joy.
