AoG UK We hope that you will find us a friendly bunch who are passionate about both God and people. We love the Bible and try to communicate it in a way that is relevant to

people’s lives and the situations around us. We also love to worship passionately and believe that God, through the Holy Spirit, still speaks to us. We have three main values that direct everything that we do: constantly seeking, mutually honouring and extravagantly blessing. We are a church that is ‘Constantly Seeking’. That means that we are a people who continually strive to know God better, experience His power more, grow further in His character and discover more of His purpose. Jesus said that the most important rule in life is to love God with all our hearts, our minds and our souls. We have made that our target. We are a church that is ‘Mutually Honouring’. That means that we want to love, honour and respect those that God has put around us. We seek to develop authentic relationships within our church in which we challenge and encourage each other to grow into better people. Jesus said that life’s second most important rule is to love our neighbour as ourselves. We take that seriously. We are a church that is ‘Extravagantly Blessing’. That means that we believe that the church, the big church, is God’s means of blessing our communities, the nation and the world. We want to be a church that makes a positive difference in our community. Of utmost importance to us is to help people realise the good news that through following Jesus they can experience eternal life. Jesus’ last words to His followers were to take this good news everywhere with them throughout their communities and the world. These words become our mission. We try to make sure that these values are more than just empty words. We structure all of our church around making sure that we are able to live these values out.

Some of our congregation were at the Big Church Festival. They are all safe but our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the tragic incident that occurred yesterday.

We pray especially for the family and friends of the man who sadly lost his life, for those who have been injured and are receiving treatment, and for everyone who has been shaken by what has happened.

We also pray for the emergency services, festival staff and all those caring for and supporting people at this difficult time.
Lord, bring comfort to those who grieve, healing to those who are injured, peace to those who are afraid, and strength to all who are affected. Amen.

We’re really excited to welcome our missionary Deborah James on 13th September at both of our locations!

Deborah grew up right here in Biddulph, but for many years she has been courageously serving God in Madagascar; travelling to difficult-to-reach places and sharing the good news of Jesus with people who have never heard it before.

She’s a brave, passionate and incredibly engaging speaker, and we know you’re going to be inspired by her story and all that God is doing through her ministry.

Come along, bring someone with you, and hear what God is doing in one of the most remote parts of the world!

Every hand matters 🤍

Church isn’t built by a few people doing everything. It’s built by ordinary people being willing to serve.

The person on the stage matters.
The person behind the sound desk matters.
The person making the coffee matters.
The person setting up chairs matters.
The person welcoming someone at the door matters.
The person praying quietly in the background matters.

Every gift. Every role. Every willing heart.

We’re one body, and every part has a purpose. 🫶

All hands are important. All people are important. And when we all play our part, the Church is stronger.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27 ✝️
