Every time we have a friendship club, we will have a special activity. These activities are totally optional, and you can just do your own thing if you want. For tomorrow’s session, we will be having a very special quiz. So get ready to have your brains tested (it won’t be too hard we promise!).

A few weeks ago at ‘Teddies’ (our weekly group for accompanied babies and toddlers) we planted some cress seeds. Well… look what’s happed to some of them already. It’s all very exciting!

Our next session is this Thursday at 9.30am. You can just turn up, but you can also guarantee your place by e-mailing [email protected] incase we hit our capacity.

This Thursday, we are excited to see the continuation of one thing, and the start of something brand new.

At 9.30am, we are running our next session of 'Teddies', our group for accompanied babies and toddlers. Expect crafts, snacks, a baby area, lots of refreshments, a story time and lots and lots of toys. You don't have to book, you can just turn up. However e-mailing us beforehand reserves your space in case we hit capacity.

Then, at 1.30pm, we are running the first session of a new initiative, which we have called 'The Friendship Club'. It's a very simple concept. Anyone who wants to turn up can, and we will be having a time of chat, cake and company. There will be activities on offer, but equally, you can bring anything with you as well.

We will be running this on a trial basis for 4 weeks during June and July (June 4th, 11th, July 2nd and 16th). Entry is a £1 donation. No need to book, just turn up.

We are looking forward to our next ‘Oasis Sunday Club’ tomorrow. This takes place once a month in a room walking distance from the church and is a chance for the children to get together, play games, make crafts and learn from the Bible. We try and make sure there is something for all ages. Parents of anyone under 11 need to drop off and pick up their children (someone will be at the church door to direct you). Anyone 11-12 can arrive and leave on their own, but we would need contact with parents/guardians first. Adults can stay for the service in the church building if they want, but don’t have to.

We are excited to say that we are starting a new twice-monthly group called ‘The Friendship Club’ which will be a chance for people to come together, eat cake, and socialise. There will be a 5 minute thought each week, as well as an activity provided, but people can equally bring there own things to do (knitting, puzzles, draughts etc…). It will be very chilled and basically a chance to hangout together. If you, or anyone you know, would enjoy it please either come or let others know. There will be a charge of £1 per person just to cover costs.

No need to book, just turn up anytime between 1.30-3.00pm. The dates for the first four sessions are:

11th June
2nd July
16th July

From this Sunday we start a new series looking at one of the most famous books of the Bible, but often one of the most misunderstood. As you dig into it, you realise there is so much hidden depth, and as you go through all four chapters, you realise its meaning is very different to the version you may have learnt when you were younger.

Please do come along and join us. It’s going to be a very challenging and insightful teaching series.

We start at 10.45am, but come along from 10.15am for refreshments.

We are really enjoying seeing everyone at ‘Teddies’ and this upcoming Thursday is the last one before half-term.

We start at 9.30am and are open to all accompanied babies and toddlers. It’s £2 donation per family and that includes refreshments for adults and children.

Although you can turn up on the day to see if we have space, it’s recommended that you get in touch beforehand to guarantee your space. To make contact, just e-mail [email protected].
