We had a lovely service this morning, and as part of that, we had Nan from the Community Grocery in Burslem visiting to talk about the amazing work that takes place there. Members of the church were also very generous in bringing along donations to help with that work.

As part of our 10.45am service tomorrow we have a visitor from the Burslem Community Grocery who is going to update us on the amazing work they do. As part of this focus, they are asking those attending to bring an item to donate to the Grocery. The list is below. If you are coming along, please do bring something with you if you can.

Cereal
Juice
Biscuits
Cake
Washing-up liquid.

We are looking forward to meeting together this morning, where we will be looking at some of the elements that make up the character of Jesus, the joy of having him as our king and the importance of replicating his character in our lives.

We will also have lots of fun activities for the children. We start at 10.45am, but don’t forget to turn up from 10.15am for refreshments .

This is going to be so good. There is a lovely unified feel between the churches in the circuit, so getting together to celebrate that will be a joyful thing. Do come along and be part of it.

We had a brilliant time at our drop-in this morning, with our biggest attendance so far this Summer. Some of the children were too young to do crafts and took advantage of some of the other areas, but we did have some other children who took on the challenge of making a rocket, jellyfish or designing some scratch art. If you were there, can you spot your wonderful creation? Or even spot the moment you defeated Gareth at Guess Who?

Sadly it was our last drop-in of the holidays, but there are lots more things coming up, so keep your eyes peeled 👀

We are ready for our drop in this morning. Crafts, games, toddler and baby area, toast, drinks and snacks. It’s all go. We start at 9.30 and any accompanied children from newborn to age 10 are welcome.

Our next drop-in of term takes place this Thursday at 9.30am. Expect a baby area, toddler area, crafts, lego and something for the top-end children too. We will also be giving out toast, biscuits and drinks. Any accompanied children of age 10 and under are welcome.

This week we will have lots of crafts to choose from, from jellyfish to seahorses to scratch art.
